Ma'am Arco teaches very well. Medyo mabilis nung tinake ko nung summer pero I was amazed naintindihan ko parin yung tinuturo niya despite the pace. Siguro pag regular sem mas maayos pa. Btw her notes would definitely help... a lot. :)more

Sobrang dali lang ng chem 31 dahil sa kaniya. Memorize the notes lang yung key. Uso pati curve sa kaniya!!! Pero ingat tho, kasi dahil madali ang lec niyo sa kaniya, for sure mahirap ang kapartner niya na lab. Trust me, I got an uno here and a 2.5 in the lab.more

Got an Uno from her. Tip: Memorize the readings. ArcoNotes is the key to passing Chem 31. However, ArcoNotes is very bleak and not enough for you to study for the ATQs and FRs.more

Get Arco Notes kasi lahat ng quizzes and exams based doon. Memorize rin pag may time. Medyo mahina boses ni ma'am and minsan susungitan ka pero mabait naman as a whole, at least better than other org chem profs out there. Better if your answer the exercises in her notes in advance kasi minsan seatwork yan. Strict sa attendance so don't cut.more

Items sa quiz, examples sa powerpoint slides and problem sets lalabas sa exam. Madaming bonus points sa exams. Sakto lang ang turo kahit medyo bitin.

Substantial 'yung explanations niya, kaso minsan sobra sa substance kaya bumabagal discussion haha. Pumipikit siya habang nagsasalita kaya nakakaantok pero 'wag ka matulog, sisitahin ka niya. Attendance is checked everyday kahit hindi mo nakikita. Arco Notes helped me a lot, study them well and madadala mo pa 'yung knowledge hanggang higher chem.more

Arco notes lang, makakasurvive ka na. Don't bother asking her for questions, especially mundane ones, magagalit lang siya. And don't fall asleep in class (or don't get caught, at least). She knows a lot about organic chem though. May quizzes siya, at least two for each exam. Studying for these quizzes help a lot for exam review!more

Not a conductive learning environment. Always angry at students. If taking her class, get a good class standing to avoid hearing her getting angry at your class every meeting. Shames failing students, does not help anyone. But more considerate to students passing the course. Want to learn something? Not from discussions. Just read Arco notes and you will be fine, but don't expect to learn deeply.more
