Took his class and it was very intense. I'd say he's one of the strict profs that I enjoyed recently. He isn't strict just because he was power tripping, he just genuinely enjoy order.
For his class, sync classes are recorded and the cut system is being followed. You're either present, late, or absent. If you're absent, you'll need to present an excuse letter before or after your absence. If he notices that a lot of the class is absent, he'll give out bonus grades, so make sure to attend all of his classes.
His lessons are manageable if you exert the effort. He wants you to read the readings before his classes, and you really should because he will call on people randomly. He takes note of the people he calls randomly because he also grades recitation. He teaches well, and his PowerPoints are usually easy to follow.
For his tests, our beadle really had to fight for it not to be a sync examination. So if he suggests that, make sure to tell him that the recent memos don't allow professors to do that. All the exams are essay type, and only have five questions. Some are easy, the kind that you only need your stock knowledge to answer them, but some will make you read back to all of your lessons. Answer fast tho, because you only have 2-3 hours to answer them.
In terms of his workload, I'd say it's manageable? We only had to pass 2 reqs every month, and there's also 3 reportings you have to do with your groupmates about a case.

His questions have the same voice and style as bar exams, no joke. Puro essay mga tests niya ofc. He has a soft voice and he's generally usually in a good mood. Just be responsible with reading the materials and cases and you'll get a decent grade, around a B. If you're the Beadle, PROVIDE A LAPTOP OR FACE WRATH. I love Dr. Candelaria he's such a dad rin like he also let us watch a movie and eat in his class for that one day :3 just pls provide a laptop and read

Last sem, he only had one class scheduled, which was at 8 in the morning! Given that, you have to do your best to get into the classroom by that time because he does take note of attendance. It’s apparently important, so try not to use up your cuts for this class. Or to fall asleep in his class. He’ll remember you for it 😶more
