Sir is actually fun and class is sometimes enjoyable, yun lang andaming free cuts without prior notification (take note, usually 8am class niya). No tests so heavy on recitation if you want a good grade. Lots of readings. Submits assignments and final grades really, really late. His class was such a hassle at times so be prepared for that.more

Fun, well-made lectures. Speaks quietly, kinda hard to heard. Never gives scores, never replies to essays you've sent in, no way to know your standing or how well you're doing or if he even knows you exist. Posts grades late. My advice is to recite a lot.

Always gives free cuts so you don't learn anything... aabot lahat ng readings around 300 pesos but he only discusses 1/3 of it (though it varies daw every sem)...most of your grade is based on pop quizzes that he gives(never kami nag quiz na announced) not unoable at all kahit mageffort ka...10/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMENDmore

THIS PROFESSOR IS THE BEST! I read on him before and didn't expect the class to be such a lively, insightful, and understandable class. He speaks so well, and he has an air of authority in his words that make everything so gracious to listen to. I was on the edge of my seat every lecture because he discussed history in vivid story-telling manner :)more

Took this during midyear so I guess my experience may be slightly different. Sir is friendly naman and he encourages us to participate in discussions. However, he tends to go off-topic a lot during discussions so a lot of time gets wasted often. His basis for grading is also pretty vague. Don't expect an Uno in this class no matter how hard you trymore

if gusto niyo marinig ang buhay ng isang linguist, kunin nyo sya lol mga 75% ng discussion tungkol sa life experiences and travels niya tapos 20% takeaways ng class tapos 5% tungkol naman sa EL. interesting naman na prof, light din workload. thanks sir!more
