He doesn't even know how to teach the language. He will just talk and talk in the Spanish language and doesn't care if the students understand it. Don't take him guys!more

If you're dependent on class discussions, then this class is not for you. He expects you to keep up with the pace of the rest of the class (which is unfortunate because most of my classmates were DEL). You really have to study hard. He also gives out prerogative points, which I think is based on favoritism. Recitation is a must, quizzes can kill.more

His teaching style is different from most, and so I would say that he is one of the most misunderstood professors. I learned so much from his class about the subject matter and about life itself. He made me LOVE Latin and see its beauty and the life it has given to other languages in the world. Not an easy class, but I learned SO MUCH! Worth it!more

Since he is teaching a language course, he expects that the language be used during class. This means though that recitation is very important since he has to hear the students speak the language. He can also get angry when no one is speaking in class. Outside class, he is very approachable and also talks about the Spanish culture.more

He's actually quite nice. He's so fluent in the language and knowledgeable in Spanish culture. I'd say he was generous enough with the grades in our quizzes. He encourages students to recite, but sometimes he does kind of criticize wrong answers. Don't take it personally though, it's his way of making sure no one makes that mistake again. 6/10?more

To be honest, si sir ang best prof ko so far na nakuha. Hindi dahil unoable siya (hell no) o patwitums siya(intimidating ang personality niya lalo na sa simula ng class, which may be the reason marami ang ayaw sa kaniya) iba ang ang tama ni Sir. Iba siya magturo, and by that marami kang matututunan. For me, he's the image of a true UP education.more

Maraming may ayaw sa kanya dahil na nga sa attitude niya, pero kakaiba siyang prof. Mapipilitan ka talagang matuto, hindi siya spoonfeed. Kung gusto mo ng prof na pang-UP talaga, take him. Walang madali sa buhay. Marami siyang sinasabi about sa paniniwala niya sa buhay, marami akong hindi pinaniniwalaan, pero alam mong may substance sinasabi niya.more

Freshie ako nung kinuha ko siya and medyo bad move kasi adjusting period pa lang. Every time na papasok ako kinakabahan ako, pero he's a great teacher. Passionate siya. Basta mag-aral ka at mag-effort! Kasi pag nakita niya yun, mataas grade mo! He doesn't care that much about the grades. btw, KUNG TOP 5 INSTANT UNO! 1.5 grade ko sa kanya ;)more

Intimidating at first, but he's a great professor. He requires recitation but it's for your own good. Isa pa, matututo ka talaga as in application kung pano makipag-usap hindi ung halimbawa a=aa, ganun, as in conversations ang mga style niya ng quiz though wala siyang oral exams. Kahit medyo napapagalitan ka niya pag nagkakamali ka, okay lang yan=)more

Matututo ka talaga ng legit. Iba siya, ang galing galing niya. Wag ka nga lang chill. Maraming may ayaw sa kanya dahil pranka siya at nanggigisa siya ng students sa class, pero trust me, masasanay ka sa kanya. wala ka nang pakealam sa itsura mo kung gisa gisahin ka, etc, kasi ang iisipin mo nalang, matuto. he'll make you knowledge conscious! :)more

Nung una, super takot talaga akong pumasok sa class niya, as in may halong nginig and all. Ang lakas kasi talaga ng boses niya at feeling mo lagi siyang galit. Pero magaling, sobrang galing. Hindi ko ineexpect na matututo ako ng Spanish sa kanya. Hard work talaga yung kailangan. Never come to class unprepared!more

I like Sir better as a person than a prof. I like how he manages to infuse his ideals and life lessons so that you don't only get to learn about Latin but also get to pick up things that could help you reevaluate life. He's abrasive but i get why he's like that. But i admit I didn't get to love Latin as a subject be because of the teaching style.more

He makes people cry and his students tend to get scared of him (understandable). But tbh, all you have to do in his class is listen to his lectures (whether it's about Latin or about life), submit the translation work he's assigned to you, study for his exams, be participative during discussions, and you'll be fine. He's a good person and prof.more

May love-hate relationship ang class namin kay sir. Mostly hate pero nagbago rin naman siya in the end. Kailangan lang kasi talaga ay magpakita ka ng interest sa lesson and sa subject. Always participate and ask questions. Magaling siyang tao. Magaling ding guro. Marami siyang alam kaya hindi lang tungkol sa asignatura ang matututunan mo.more

You'll either love him or hate him--he wouldn't care either way. However, he's a really great person. He can be grouchy at times but during his good days, he's awesome. You'll learn a lot from him; just make sure to participate and maintain interest in your coursework because he knows if you don't.more

Sobrang shitty ng experience ko sakanya, i never wanted to use my mental health condition in school pero tangina, he made things so much worse for my recovery. Matalino nga "raw" sya but he CANT BE A TEACHER. up to this day tuwing madadaan ako sa room kung san sya nagututuro, naririnig ko parin yung sigaw nya and it still gives me panic attacks.more

Sir Ebreo is an intelligent man, no doubt. A proficient professor/comedian minsan. You will learn a lot from him, even beyond the subject. He's aware of his image, and though he was never explicit na he's trying to do better, evident naman sa class namin. Lenient and forgiving, kahit sa grades. Latin wasn't an easy subject but he made it enjoyable albeit still challenging.more
