Wilson Gan is the father of MKT101, at least in the eyes of my class. He will make you understand the awesomeness of Marketing and he will always relate the discussions to actual occurrences with Unilever and P&G and other companies so that while you learn the terms of the course, you also learn about how it works in the real world. He wont go easy on you during the making of your passes because he will really make sure that everything is in its proper place...and this is very important for the final defense because everything that you do in the course boils down to that. He's the head of Globe na yata now and has been working for several big companies na rin in the past but he still keeps on teaching, so i guess you can say he's passionate about it. Once you get him as a prof, you'll feel your money's worth too. For requirements: i think there were 3 passes (and you have to submit revisions rin 'cause we want everything to be perfect come the final defense), mock defense, final defense, participation/recitation, and WACs (aka papers from analyzing what went right and what went wrong with different company's marketing strategies) Suggestion: Enlist in MKT101 with your group already 'cause you want to be stuck with the people youre comfortable working with. Hands down, first choice na yan si Wilson Gan. FYI He was also my Stat prof and he still managed to make it engaging with some marketing stories every now and thenmore

waaaah i love sir feria the best!! i really learned a lot from his class bc as my group mates said, he really wants you to analyze and think for yourself. he will not spoon feed you the answer but he will make sure you get there. it's because he wants you to be prepared and look great for the panel. in terms of the modules, they were super enjoyable and organized. he even has games for the class to make sure we're both learning and having fun. echoing my group mates again, if you want a good output for your final presentation, consult as much as you can! he will point out your strong and weak points and legit go through your entire plan with you. in terms of grading, he's B+ able, A with maximum effort. you really get the grade you deserve.more

He's super jolly and then he'd be lowkey tampo if no one turns on their cam XD. (He totally understands tho if u can't turn on your cams.) He gives a lot of feedback! He'll keep pushing you until you have the best answer. You'll definitely learn a lot which I know even I will use in the future. Modules are well written. His synch classes are also straight to the point. During synch classes, he has a question forum to make sure everyone understands the lesson. He loves it when people ask questions because that's when he knows that you're listening. In terms of grading, he grades fair! You have to work for it ofc but for his class, I would gladly put in the extra effort. Truly lucky to have our first marketing class under him!more

He has lots of bonus quizzes also hehe. He doesn't give makeup quizzes kasi so the bonus quizzes would really help pull up your grade if you miss any of them ☺ He also really pushes you to do better & he really believes in his students' capabilities, so yah, great prof!more

If this is our Sir Feria - when consulting with him, he will not tell you the answer he wants to hear. he really wants you to find it out for yourselves as a group. tip is to conduct as much consultations with him as possible so that you can get the closest or best answer(for him) HAHAmore

Grades super fairly but is a great great great teacher! By the book sometimes though but he's really kind and understanding, pushes deadlines for the whole class, no favoritism. But then if ever you get into top 4 in MKT you're on your own HAHAHA also he doesn't magic your grades unlike *other* mkt profs lol so you really have to work for it.more

he’s a good prof! we were the only block that had him for LAS50 i think and he’s more of a mentor than a teacher! he won’t do much to help you hands-on, but the bulk of the lessons you learn come from his reviews regarding on how you did in the activity. he also speaks from experience because he’s an entrepreneur himself! personally, he may come off as mean or scary at times but try to brush it off na lang! he’s super nice and i think easy B-A as long as you do your best even in the earlier projects! do your best in gathering as much info as well for your presentations 😊 ccmore

hes a very nice prof!! hes kinda intimidating at first and i kinda didnt know what he wanted in terms of output in class but as the sem goes by, i knew that he wanted us to learn by experience and not rly thru memorizing shit from his lectures. in terms of workload, he gives a lot of grpwork!! also individual essays haha he also gives surprise quizzes so watch out for that (but theyre easy lang naman + hes generous w scores) basta make sure u get good grpmates and actively participate in class so he would easily remember u!! easy b/b+more

Sir Feria my fave :(((( he was my MKT 102 prof and really took care of our group. We would consult with him and even text him for help in off hours, and supported us like anything from the first pass all the way to final four 😊 when he helps you, he'll probe you to figure out things on your own. You can tell he wants you to learn. he has quizzes every class (yung 10 pt sa 1/4 lang) but gives lots of bonus. Clear in explaining concepts and dedicates a lot of time to consultations. Medj high standards in a way but he won't give up on you if he sees your effort. He likes to joke around a lot. Loved him as our prof so much that my group decided to get him for our thesis class 😁more
