it was doc's first time teaching last sem so he's still trying to figure out his teaching style
the class didn't feel super structured (i didn't really know what would happen in each session) but lectures were still insightful and very chill. if ur from hsci, parts of the class felt like a repetition of previous learnings (SDH, definitions of health, SDGs) so medyo sayang if u wanted to learn smth new haha
for reqs, we had a midterm paper, one quiz (was supposed to be more than one but it kept getting moved until di natuloy hahaha), and orals. for orals, we were given scenarios beforehand and had to analyze it thru the specific frameworks and propose a solution.
honestly for us, because the reqs were so few i think it was easy to get an A
but doc's honestly a great person, he has a lot of on-the-ground experience in public health. his insights were what made the class great and fruitful imo.
overall, i honestly did not even feel i had this class last sem
but doc tj is great and i had less to worry aboutmore
