Hindi ko alam ang standing ko sa kanya kasi 3 lang ang reqs. niya (Debate, Oral Exam, Final Paper). But you would actually learn from him. He understands na hindi madaling intindihin yung mga concepts so he doesn't oblige you to come to class understanding it. He explains them thoroughly and he goes to class prepared. You can always rely on Prof. Mendoza to answer your questions about class, the topic at hand, etc. He rarely makes use of multimedia equipment and opts instead for a whiteboard marker to explain his ideas. I learned so much in his class about philosophy especially Filipino philosophy, which I didn't know existed.more

Prof. Mendoza always comes to class prepared. He knows what he is teaching. Super chill class but his few requirements (debate, oral exam, group paper) each cost a large portion of your grade. Also, he talks about the topic with confidence. Definitely learned a lot about philosophical thinking.more

Sir Mendoza is really cool, has written his own book about philosophy, so be assured that he knows his stuff. Only 3 requirements (Debate, Oral Exam, and Final paper), but these three are both unique, exciting, and challenging. AYLABYU SER. Sobrang galing ni sir magturo. Mapapawow ka sa Philo 1 niya. Mindblowing ang every discussions. Sobrang chill pa ng class, sobrang minimal ng reqs kaya pa papipiliin ng gusto niyong reqs. Alam mo talagang wala syang paki sa grading at more on sharing knowledge talaga.
