Hi!! This is my experience on Sir Montejo and review!! Assessments 1. Quizzes: • Expect a quiz for every module, which is conducted online (at least it was last semester). • Each quiz is open for a week and has a specific submission deadline. Often, quizzes are due on a class day, which means a free cut! But this isn’t always the case—especially if time is tight for covering other topics. 2. Case Study: • There’s a case study, so choose your group mates wisely. Sir Montejo provides a timeline to help you manage your schedule and avoid cramming toward the end of the semester. 3. Creative Recap: • Each group will do a recap of the recently completed module in a creative way (e.g., Kahoot or other formats). This activity comes with plus points (though it wasn’t specified where). 4. Final Exam: • The final exam is comprehensive and covers the entire semester. It’s online, but it has many problems to solve within a tight 3-hour timeframe. • Be prepared and don’t panic! It can feel overwhelming—there were around 50 questions last time—but with preparation, it’s manageable. Teaching Style • Sir Montejo explains topics clearly and is very approachable. • If you have questions (for lectures, the case study, or creative recap), don’t hesitate to ask. Overall Sir Montejo is a great professor who has humor and an overall good teaching style. As long as you stay on top of your work and participate, you can absolutely pass his class. Montejo!! He teaches generally well but I do think due to the 7 modules of ACCT 113 he may seem to be rushing through the modules. But since its accounting you still need to study and practice alot since its quite hard. Despite being a full time auditor (i think?) he still replies incredibly fast to messages. He does really care for his students. There are practice quizzes per module. But he sometimes gives out extra practice tests or questions for the module quizzes For grading on quizzes, you get what you deserve when it comes to partial points. For final grading, I have no idea since I didn’t really ask around, but for someone who isnt from ABM he was A-able!more

I think so!! Though it depends on the grade you will have on the final exam!! It takes a big chunk of your grade😭 the exam is online and can take it anywhere. All I can say is, he is A-able but with great effort!! Had ABM classes kasi nung SHS as it’s part of our curriculum. I suggest to tackle the basics of accounting so you won’t be so shocked:)) overall, his class is fun naman!!more

Definitely, Montejo! Had Sir Kristian, he really tries his best to make the lessons approachable and gives out practice tests in every module. You can also consult with him and he'll let you know what you got wrong in practice problems. Because it's Accounting, it'll still be difficult but kayang pumasa.more
