I can say that Ien is a trailblazer amongst the younger generation of Sociology professors/scholars. In my experience, I had a fun and engaging time in her class. I learned a lot that provided me a foundation in studying sociology. Outside the class, you'd get to really appreciate her even more! Talking with her feels so engaging and it's like she actually cares for the students' development.more

Ate Ien is probably one of the youngest profs I've ever had and honestly brings such a good perspective to Sociology na kayang maki-connect sa Gen Z learners, given na hindi ganoon kalaki yung cultural gap she can appropriate a lot of examples and "dumb" hard concepts down into something tangible for our minds.
