If you expect to be spoon-fed, this prof is not for you. Critical at grading papers (not a bad thing) but generous in grades. Normal difficulty since most Eng 10 have the same 4 paper requirements.more

I took his Eng 10 class when I was a freshie during my first sem. I am be totally honest when I say it helped me with all my other classes. The way he objectively criticizes his students' papers is so helpful. Also, he really makes you back up your words with research which is something we must get used to. Plus, he's so geeky! It's so cool!

Class can be boring sometimes. Required us to make 4 papers, one draft for each and then the final paper. Gives good criticism and judgment, and allows you to submit further drafts for your revisions if you want. Sir is a really nice and helpful prof that is open for consultations and you can ask him anytime (even online!)more

Ang chill ng class niya. Hindi ko na nga mabilang kung ilan yung free cuts namin but I am not recommending him because of this. Napaka bait ni sir, though medyo blunt yung mga comments niya sa paper mo, promise helpful yung mga yun.more

He's really nice! His discussions are not that bad. He's blunt and his comments are straight to the point. Your papers will get horribly low grades at first haha but there are revisions. Magugulat ka nalang sa CRS haha <3 Mabait si sir :)more

Mabait si sir!!! Ready siyang tumulong kapag nag-ask ka ng help sa kanya. Minsan nakakaintimidate siya (yung tipong parang jinujudge ka niya sa utak niya lol). Hindi siya nagbibigay ng numerical grade sa papers - puro comments lang and suggestions. Yung first and last na grade na makikita mo ay yung nasa CRS na. Marami kang matututunan kay sir!more

Boring magturo si sir, pero everything else about him makes up for it. He's really nice, approachable, and helpful especially in your papers. His criticisms may be harsh on your paper, but it really helps you write better papers in the future. (Don't worry hindi nakakatakot magcriticize si sir) Overall, I'd suggest taking him! Iba na yung teaching methods ni sir this sem compared dun sa ibang comments, hehe. May readings na, but I really enjoyed them! Yung iba nga lang sobrang haba (60-ish pages) pero sobrang interesting parin for me haha. Maraming free cut dahil sa Master's ni sir, pero super helpful niya sa papers. Dapat 3 papers, pero naging 2 lang.more

We only had 2 main papers and a few readings. The longest one was 50 pages long but it's doable. We had a total of 8 free cuts if I'm not mistaken kasi he got sick tsaka daming reading breaks! Din't really learn much though but he's helpful and very very nice! If u really wanna improve, dont take him. If you want a light eng10, take him.more
