One of the best profs I've ever encountered (including HS and GS). No quizzes, just papers. Make sure to recite in her class, that's in exchange for the lack of quizzes. She knows a lot, and tells stories. <3<3 I loved the lectures, and she gives plenty of writing breaks. Do give effort with the final papers, for those count the most in your grade.more

She exposes you to a lot of good material, but more valuable than that exposure I think are the discussions she both gives & facilitates with the class. Sa una akala ko strict si ma'am, pero no. Mabait siya, magaling magturo, magaganda yung mga pinapagawang activities. Konti lang din ang requirements sa paper; Reaction - 1-2 pages, Concept & Report - 2-3 pages each, Position - 5-7 pages. Basta do well on the papers and recite, kasi gusto nya active yung class. She grades well, too.more

She may come off as strict at first, but Ma'am is super approachable and you can ask her basically anything Eng 10 & she'll answer it the best she can. The pacing of the papers are just right, & she grades well as long as you do your part and actually exert effort. CW 10 under Ma'am Sanchez is really fun. We did snapshots, fan fiction, comics, and of course other creative writing exercises. Sure the activities she had us make took time and effort but you'll really enjoy doing it. She may be intimidating at first but you'll soon see that she is like every other person who enjoys TV series and anime/manga.more

The best! <3 You can feel her love for literature and her expertise. You'll learn A LOT! Lots of readings, but manageable. Her exams are relatively easy as long as you review and really, really read the texts. She has high standards, but she tries to give the highest possible grade a student can get. Ma'am Anna Sanchez is one of the best professors I've had in UP. Every session is filled with relevant and comprehensive discussion. Her requirements involve participation, quizzes, lots of papers (that were worth it), and a midterm and final one. I've learned so much and applied it to my other subjects too.
