(Lab only) The machine problem was hard. If you're not up to the challenge, you might want to consider taking the lab class under another prof. Since exams are departmental, he also gives exam questions which are like, trivia questions. You never know what might come out and the answers are not usually discussed in class.more

When he does the lecture he just sits there with the mic and goes with the discussion. HE LOOKS LIKE LEMONGRAB FROM ADVENTURE TIME. His lab MEs are really hard and he doesn't give partial points. During lab meetings, he'll just discuss the specs and then he'll leave you with the SAs.more

The lecture component was pure memorization/trivia, but you can learn something if you Google the terms. The lab component is hard only because of the vague specs and the brutal checking policy, plus the fact that you can't ask for decent clarifications. The exercises themselves are a joke though in hindsight. The class needs to be revised heavily.

He is a PROGRAMMER, NOT a TEACHER of programming. What we need is a teacher who can level their minds to the student's point of view. Well I guess this prof just can't do it. Kawawa yung mga Istudyante. I heard one student, that he learn more on youtube than on his class.more

Underrated Professor. A bit more approachable than reviews make it seem. Gives fairly easy MEs but hard MPs. No spoonfeeding at all from him so expect to put in effort when you're in his course.more

I never really understood him. Idk why even bother to go to class. I learned everything i needed to learn on youtube. He never gives exercises or seatworks so I was always lost in answering the LEs. His LEs are hard and u don't know what to expect or what topic to focus on when studying. He may be good programmer but not a good teacher.more
