i like how she tried her best to tailor our readings to what we wanted to learn more about. sadly, i don't like how she lectures. reciting is never forced, which is good, pero wala kasing bibo sa amin so...it was always pretty awkward. she's good at giving feedback thomore

You should take her if you want a better appreciation of literature. She requires a reaction paper on the assigned texts every meeting because it's her way of making sure that you've read the texts and it also gives you something to say during recitations. She guides the class well to gain their own insights from the texts.more

You can definitely see Ms. Cardoso's passion in the craft in the way she teaches the subject. You'll definitely learn so much in writing from her. I like that she gave us the freedom to do what we want for the final creative output- to apply what we've learned from the readings which she explains well during the class proper. One of the best profs!more

Super good prof! Interesting readings, super considerate with grades, fun discussions. We had creative exercises almost everyday and some were take home. I'm not very creative but still got an 1.00 in my final output (with maximum effort of course). Nothing bad to say about her.more

One thing I loved about Ma'am is that she easily replies to emails regarding the papers she makes us write. I often ask her about the organization of my paper and she would give her honest opinion on how to make it better. I didn't really learn a lot from the readings but I learned a lot from her requirementsmore

TRIPLE 5-STARS. ENOUGH SAID. HAHAHA. Anyway, ma'am is very fun. She makes discussions light but relevant. She also has few requirements only. She is also very helpful and approachable. You will surely learn and enjoy Eng 10 with her as your professor. :))more

Ma'am is a great teacher, her lectures and choice of readings made poetry bearable. The only hassle thing is attendance, which is graded, and the reaction paper you need to pass every meeting. But I would definitely recommend taking Eng 11 under Ma'am. Easy uno if you just be honest and put in effort for the two long exams and final paper.more

I love ma'am and this class! I took it during midyear and even if she required us to write a reaction paper everyday, I still managed to appreciate lit! She really tries to give readings that the class likes and she makes the discussion very engaging!!more
