Nice prof but papers, exam, and presentations are hassle

Hi I was in the same class and agree with the comments above. Just to add: We also had to take a departmental exam onsite but on Canvas. We were presented with a case study and answered open-ended essay questions related to the case. This was open notes but Googling (and ofc talking to classmates) was not allowed. The (group and indiv) passes are papers each corresponding to one module - so if i remember correctly, it's 5 papers total? Then all of this cumulates into a group defense. That, plus the exam, PLUS the semi-impromptu presentations with the whole wheel of names thing was so hassle 😭 In terms of personality she's super nice, but her classes are nakakaantok no hate :")) The content itself is very interesting, but I blame it on the combination of her relaxing voice and the fact that it was a 3-hour night class. And the content of the lectures are value-adding naman, it's not all just a repeat of the modules on Canvas, but it's all so abstract and makes use of these impractical sustainability-related frameworks that I know for sure I won't use in real life 🙂 So anyways I got an A by some miracle even though I'm pretty sure I shouldn't have because my grades were not cute, and I didn't think she was the type to curve either, but definitely don't take my word for it. I think my friends got a range from B to B+? I strongly do not recommend though :") I don't think it's the worst class in the world but overall I didn't enjoy it either PM nalang for questions if you do end up stuck with her ha hamore

hello horrible experience! i took a 6-9 PM onsite class week. Our class consisted of one MGT-H block and 4 ME students and yet mababa pa rin siya mag grade AHAHAHAHA she teaches well kaso lang her standards are so damn high for no reason. every other week may requirement kayo, sometimes group passes or individual; minsan nagsasabay pa alongside activities during onsite class pa ahdhshsh like di naman need but she tries to jampack each session. Not to mention she calls people during recitation also. When there are individual outputs you will most likely present it the next week and ma’am uses wheel of names so you end up either presenting or commenting on the presentation. Asking for her comments and feedback is crucial pala to getting high, very substantial naman responses niya! When asking for deadline extensions and leniency, medj mahirap kausapin :((( Basically idk if it was the schedule but shes super hassle and i really didnt enjoy the class :>>>> matino akong student, but this class was rlly not itmore

all these reviews r wrong!! fave prof this sem, knows her stuff when it comes to sustainability since she owns a social enterprise. havent gotten our final grades yet but i think she changed the outputs this year based on previous feedback. Grades per output for both group and individual arent too bad also We only had one session with the wheel of names but she told us to prepare for it beforehand so the people who presented were ready for it na. outputs werent that heavy na also as compared to the previous review. She gave a lot of time in between group outputs and a lot of time to consult with her regarding your progress. Sweetest prof and u can tell shes really passionate about what she does. not terror at all. enjoyed this class alot!! Would rather go for her specifically for this class than the other profs who lean more towards corporate work.more

+1 I think she was able to make the class really fun! She also gives a lot of really great actionable feedback whenever you’d have an output, and I think that also stems from what she does for work outside of teaching. You can really sense her passion for sustainability, you will look forward to going to her classes even if you’d have to present something. Rlly fun, different take on what the usual LAS class na puro case study etc. Also shows that she really cares for you and that you learn from the sessions Output-wise not too heavy but you’d have to put in some work, but in the end I think what you’re getting out of them is really value-adding because it’s not just limited to business and/or management classes—applicable to other disciplines as well! If I could, I’d take her class againmore

Our class is 5-8, but usually by 7 we are done na, with the exception of some sessions. i believe she is A-able given moderate effort into thinking of arguments and practical arrangements, and she returns assessments befoer the next assessment is due! very constructive comments as well.more
