madalang siya magpa-requirements, and he gives helpful comments sa drafts. from what i remember what we do during f2f is more of writing exercises + parang nagiging building blocks (character profiles, worldbuilding assignments) mo na rin for your final draft. i got a high grade naman kahit late ako nagpasa ng reqs (as in inc level).more

hi! took cw 10 under sir emil last sem. hindi siya masiyado nagbibigay ng activities. nagme-meet lang kami once a week, tapos nakalaan yung isang day to finish our readings or assignments. he gives helpful comments talaga sa drafts mo. i don’t remember his grading system, pero oks naman mag-grade si sir basta you tried ur best sa paper. lenient din siya and considerate.more

I've always looked forward to his class because he can create an hour and a half+ long "storytelling" from a simple, boring, we-already-know topic. You'll really learn a lot from him. It's super fun and super interesting. EFFORT EFFORT EFFORT. His class may seem pretty chill but don't let it get to your head and to your papers.

Sir Flores is very nice and very helpful! He gives constructive criticism on your work and also stresses on points where you did a good job. I love how the class was handled. He always give articles and stories that will really interest you. He is super considerate when it comes to giving grades, especially on the papers we have to submit.more

Sir Flores is kind and fatherly, but don't let that facade get to you: he is quite critical when it comes to papers (reaction, position, concept, etc.). He always seeks the best out of his students and creates an interactive yet academic atmosphere during class.more

A very good teacher. If you're into pop culture and current events, he likes to talk a lot about those in a very nonboring way. And he always includes students' opinions, always open for discussion (though has a tendency to hear only himself). All in all, an intelligent, helpful teacher.more

Chill class meetings. He can talk about anything for the entire time. I learned new things which is not related to the subject, which is cool. Papers are made step by step, meeting by meeting. He is very critical when checking papers, which is good. You'll know where and how you can improve your output next time.more

Chill ang class and sobrang galing niyang magdiscuss. Hindi siya yung ordinary na discussion dahil yung concepts ay nirerelate niya sa mga current issue. Pagdating sa papers, hindi mo mararamdaman yung stress dahil step-by-step naman at talagang may process.more

Most of his discussions are just intellectual kwentuhans. Very into pop culture and current events. If you pay attention, you'll learn a lot of interesting things. Not exactly academic content but important, nonetheless. He's very kind and won't mind you doing whatever in his class. His only requirement is the short story at the end of the sem.more

Sir Flores is super chill and fatherly. His discussions were infused with pop culture and other nerdy sci-fi as well as manga and anime related things. We only had one requirement which was the short story, and the writing workshops were actually helpful. He'll motivate and inspire you to write. I learned a lot from this class! 10/10 <3more

has a mastery of the course, tends to go on political tangents when mentioning examples of the concepts in a real-life setting. will accept late submissions tho so its a bonusmore
