Ma'am is a very good Japanese professor! You will learn a lot from her and her tips in how to memorize the characters are very helpful. The way she teaches class, you will surely be practiced by the end of the semester. Very strict about writing characters though, so make sure you practice writing it properly a lot.more

Solid prof! Marami kang matutunan + very considerate! Group activities karamihan sa requirements niya pero she makes sure na hindi kayo gagahulin sa oras. Minsan, wala pang meeting para lang gawin niyo yung activity. THE BEST!!more

Sobrang galing ni Ma'am magturo. We watched a lot of vids in class and sobrang fun. We watched two movies nung sem (after each exam) -- we had 2 exams. Will recommend if you study hiragana/katakana in advance. Just come to class prepared and practice regularly to learn the language.more

Mabait si Ma'am Tina and she will always be open to help you in her class. Most of the requirements are group work (65%). If okay groupmates mo then good if not gl. Sa activities madali naman makakuha good grade pero sa mga major tasks medyo mataas na standards ni ma'am. Ma'am doesn't post slides so take notes during class. Mahirap makakuha ng uno kasi mataas ang grading bracket niya (75 = 3.0)more
