hello! had sir miko for theo 11 and i found it chill !! though it was honestly hard for me to listen given that his class was at 2:00pm and it was in bel of all places so we were all pretty much zoned out for most of his class, he is passionate with how he teaches and how he explains !! he often has handouts and sometimes seatworks, which we do in pairs/groups when he lets us. we had probs 2 or 3 quizzes, just make sure to listen to his instructions as to what you will have to read prior. please do also bring a bible for most of the seatworks revolve around that, though he does allow digital copies. he says he doesnt like gadgets in class but literally everyone had their laptops, tablets, and phones out during class and he didnt mind so just test the waters with him during the first few class days before deciding. he has no midterms or finals or any orals, all your major reqs will rely heavily on papers. he uses a 4-point scale, which i personally am not a fan of but it is what it is. he grades fairly well, i got a B+ in his class with barely any effort. you just have to make sure to explain the concepts you learned in class well, utilize the handouts and any other resources he gives out throughout the sem (i made it out alive w barely any notes from lectures) and make use of consultation time! he’s a very accommodating prof actually, so make sure to make the most out of it. overall i’d want to take him again, but maybe on an earlier timeslot 😥 B+ with barely any effort (not saying that you shouldnt do anything, at least read your handouts), A-able if you pay enough attention.more

hi! had him for theo 13! just like the other comments here i can vouch for sir being pretty chill! haha grading: he grades high ! a-able/easy a (imo) just be sure to be serious in passing ur assessments and don’t bullshit ur requirements bc it comes a lot from the materials ur reading or the lectures he gives. he’s flexible naman with deadlines! lecture: parang podcast hahshshs. he’s the type to give out handouts and he’ll take you along through the lecture with it. he is clear with the points he wants to raise. he isn’t the type to have a lot of recitations though nakikinig ka lang talaga sakanya materials: yung readings niya may annotations niya para makatulong with understanding the content. personality: he’s super nice and very approachable. he’s currently getting his phd so baka medyo slow rin siya with his feedback. other: you can collab with people on the sections he handles. if u have friends who r in another section tapos under him pwede kayo maging groupmates on some requirements personal context: nakuha ko morning class niya, and kaya naman 😃 overall, i’d recommend him! fun prof!more

Had him for theo 11. Sir Miko is a huge Bible nerd and you’ll learn a lot from him even about the “weird” and violent parts of it we’re taught to ignore. Super energetic at para talaga siyang nagi-infodump like a friend would be telling you about their interests!!! Pls match his energy; he’s a gem. Mabagal lang talaga feedback but his feedback is worth listening to when he gives it and he’s always open for consultation He does not call to recit but if you raise your hand ok lang since he loves a good question or recitation. Also he uses handouts for readings which was super helpful as a makalimutin mag-print (lalo nang ayaw niya sa devices in class) Easy B+ to A for me :>more

HIIIII,, im still taking him but i say go for him if you want a chill theo that's pretty fun! he just blanks out a lot hshsshsh pros: - requirements are pretty simple so far! around four papers, class seatworks, and one groupwork (for our finals) - readings are easy to digest and he formats all of them so that they are clean and organized. super big help! - no recitation at all! cons: - he grades and provides feedback slow i just treat him like a live podcast really 😭 i'll update this comment w my grade soonmore

(Took him ay 24-25 2nd sem) i love him 😩 very passionate with teaching and open-minded ❤️ - for workload I would say that it’s light. it was mostly readings then we had a few quizzes and papers - no orals, but there is a group presentation/discussion on a selected topic at the end of the sem - note that he does not provide ppts nor discussions in canva (only readings),so it would help that you at least know someone in class - grades fairly (not lenient nor strict) - can be A-able if you listen well and understand the lessonsmore
