Hi! Coach is really kind and considerate so you’re in good hands for sure!! As long as he sees that you are putting effort into learning and executing the moves, he’ll recognize your effort and grade accordingly naman! I personally think his class is worth taking even if you don’t have any experience in dance at all. Maybe you’ll even come to love dancing after his class! <3more

hes a nice coach but it can get difficult to keep up since the way he teaches the moves (especially for the footsteps) are quite fast paced, especially when you are classmates with good dancers since he’d noticed that majority have gotten along so he’ll move on to the next step 😔 it will be quite hard to execute the dance but he grades high! a lot of ppl got an A even if their skills arent that good. maybe he also doesnt have that high of a standardmore

Had him during first sem for Break dance. He's a super nice and chill coach. I had no prior break dance experience but was able to get the hang of it pretty easily. If you are havimg a hard time, you can ask him. He'll kindly help you out. He grades pretty high too so no need to worry about failing or getting a low grade. You'll enjoy his class for sure 😁more

hallo! just finished taking breakin' this sem :)) it's obviously more difficult than streetdance since more floorwork and power moves are involved, but don't be scared! lalo na't si coach reflex pa rin naman 'yan. he will meet you where you are. he is patient enough to teach everything step-by-step especially when the moves are a bit hard to do at first! additionally, he also has google drive folders containing recorded videos of him teaching the moves in case you want to review them outside class.
there are 5 assessments (3 graded exercises, 1 individual midterm cyphers, and 1 final battles). final requirement will be a battle tournament in class. tbh it was pretty tiring since you also have to prepare a series of combos as a group aside from the solo rounds you're gonna do, but coach grades pretty high for the most part! as long as he sees you dancing to the music and enjoying it, you'll be fine hehe.
for the group winner during finals, you'll get an A for the class regardless of your performance in the past assessments. but if you're not the winner, don't worry! if you didn't perform well in the past assessments, coach gives plus points opportunities! hehe have fun!!
(shoutout nga pala sa section SSS ('23-'24 first sem)!! HAHAHA miss ko na kayo)more
