I was really hesitant about taking BIO 1 has a GE but sir Ivan made the class very interesting! He teaches BIO 1 concepts well and he uses his experiences in medicine to make it even more relevant and interesting. Approachable and respectful.more

Interactive. Love his subtle sense of humor. Planning to take Med? Love Bio? I highly recommend this prof. He knows a lot of trivia. Exam can be really tricky. Cons: Information overload; sometimes trivias overpower discussion of concepts, and his ppt needs a bit of improvement-overload on nondescriptive complex diagrams for a GE course.more

SOOOOLID PROF!!! He made me love Bio and more motivated to continue my med dream. Dami niyang additional kwento about other medical stuff kaya interesting siya for me! One of the best profs in IB. Super naeexplain niya nang mabuti yung concepts, though minsan nakakanosebleed na since nadidivert minsan sa med-related topics. He also welcomes questions from students and happily answers them. 10/10 would recommend.more

He really makes his students understand the lesson and incorporates a lot of ideas and timely,relevant events/ practical situations which is really helpful & interesting. Medyo fast-paced kasi mabilisan talaga yung sa syllabus pero sobrang dami mo din matututunan.more

we only had < 10 sessions with sir; despite not having a lot of sessions with him, majority of what i remember from bio 1 are from his class. he makes the concepts easy to understand & makes bio 1 enjoyable. you'll learn a lot from him & he likes relating the lessons to current issues. i left the class w/ a greater appreciation for our planet & biomore

he's really good at what he does! you really have to pay attention in class because there are things that he discusses that aren't explicitly written in the ppts (but some can be seen sa campbell hehe)more
