I took her GER11 for intersession (f2f) last year and she gives you quite a bit of worksheets and HW, but they're all do-able and easy naman. Ger 11 isn't that difficult to A as long as you do your worksheets. She typically makes the whole class recite when it comes to exercises though and your tests are most likely going to be basic essay onesmore

Her classes are done on an ‘you should already know this’ basis. Self study everything. Don’t expect clear instructions from her (particularly if your classes are adjusting from pandemic to post-pandemic mode, she won’t post the new instructions online for you to be able to reference which can cause confusion in class).
You also need to pursue her and be in a good relationship with her for her to be helpful and patient in explaining to you how to correct your mistakes—she will not do so voluntarily. When asking for help, mix in a few questions you already know answers to and use them to display an ability to self-correct. It helps with her being more assistive with the questions you actually need help with.
Expect passive aggressiveness if you’re not doing well in her subject, but also expect favoritism which really helps if you’re doing well during lectures/recitation. Expect a lot of moodiness—even abrupt mood swings in the middle of lectures, especially if you’re making mistakes during recitation.
She’s fond of using punishments by being hostile and gatekeep-y in class, so make 50% of your effort in this course just an effort to be on good terms with her. It’s laborious but it’s important if you’re going to take GER12 (or further) with her too.
Luckily though for Ger11, she is much more patient with students.more
