He crams too much information in one meeting that you're left overwhelmed at the end of the class. And even as an activist, I had a difficult time keeping up with him and his principles.more

Anggulo ni sir pag nagbibigay ng requirements. Lagi niyang nakakalimutan yung sinasabi niya nung previous meetings. Expect required rallies and forums na gagawan ng reaction paper. Not respectable yung style niya ng pagtuturo dahil puro dirty jokes at mura. Pero matututo kang makialam sa national issues.more

Hindi totoo na naninigaw siya sa mga nahuhuli o natutulog sa klase. Gusto niya nga yung ganun dahil nagrerebelde sila. Madalas siya magbiro (at madalas napapaiyak yung klase sa kakatawa), pero napaka-passionate niya pa rin sa pag-ibig niya sa bayan. Overall, probably the best prof I've had. This class is a discussion class where questions are open anytime. I share some of his beliefs, some I don't. It's a fun class naman. Sir Gerry really knows what he's teaching and structures his class in a very casual way. Maraming kwento, maraming input, but then nacoconnect niya dun sa tinuturo niya. Super chill pa sa attendance and generous sa grading :)more

I understand the bad comments here because they were from the old RUPP which had reviews from 2017. However, sir Gerry remains critical and is open to questions/criticisms. The problem remains for those who felt like he was not open to other opinions is merely because he comes from a perspective after reading a mountain-load of theories and information& based on experience and material conditions.more

Sir’s workload for Soc Sci 2 is definitely much lighter compared to other professors. Requirements are 1 report and 2 exams. Sa report as long as you do your part you will get a high grade. For the exams naman you only need to attend rallies or forums he’ll assign and submit proof. Super galing niya mag explain and simplify ng theories GOATED. Super funny ang every session. Very much unoable!!more
