One of the best profs I've had. Very kind. Easiness is relative, but he teaches comprehensively and in a way na madaling maiintindihan ang lessons. May activities, so pwedeng maging close yung class. May mga games pa-bonus points sa exams (ang galante niya magbigay). Pero wag niyong kunin; akin lang siya.more

WOOOO TAKE MANAHAN FOR LINGG 110 PLEASE. He's really nice, always on time, kind prof who gives out a friendly vibe that doesn't make the room seem very tense. Considering it's an 8:30am class, he can wake people up and make people vibrant even just by talking about phonetics. He is very passionate about the field and it shows in his teaching style.

One of the best profs! He has a very practical approach to teaching and really tries to make sure that everyone gets the lesson. Many opportunities to earn bonus points so take advantage. One of my favorite professors! Learning a new language is difficult, but Sir always makes it seem fun and easy. He gives a lot of bonuses, and he teaches really well. You will learn a lot. For this sem, this was honestly my best class ever.more

TAKE HIS CLASS! Learned so much in one sem and sir is super patient and kind. He often gives exercises and activities during class but it's definitely unoable with effort of course. Take his bonus points very seriously they really help. Super enjoyed this class!more

He shows a lot of fun videos to supplement the material. The coverage is pretty light, and his slides are enough to get you through the exams. +.25 for perfect attendance. It's a really chill class, so ifyou study enough and do all the outputs well, then you'll pretty much have a sure uno.more

Maganda isabay sa majors 'tong GE na 'to. It may seem boring pero kung ano yung tinuturo niya, yun din naman yung lalabas sa exam (applications talaga & not merely memorization). Requirements: 2 exams (one written, one take-home essay type), translation project by group, group report, and some exercises. +0.25 if perfect attendance. Kaya i-uno.more

Enjoyed his class a lot!!! Took Lingg 110 as a Social Science elective and had a great time. Sir loves what he teaches. He made me more curious about linguistics — I was more interested in the class than I expected to be when I first enlisted. Some concepts were hard to grasp but he was understanding given that our whole class consisted of non-Lingg majors :) Got a flat uno, which I didn't expect!more
