Took maam for ENGL 11 naman! This class was ACTL FUN like daming tawa!! Ma’am is super chill and loves it when students engage. Just open your cam + smile and she WILL LOVE U PROMISE HAHAHAHAHAHA Some cons tho: the first month was full of kwentuhans (iirc we didn’t have lessons) then bigla we had to do like 3 DBs, 2 group presentations, and 2 major papers w consultations in a month. Also, when I asked some friends about their engl 11, our indiv papers were group pala for them. Ma’am gives feedback kinda slow rin (like she would return the outline one day before the due date of the essay. i was just lucky bc i did my essay na and she just so happens to like my outline,, my friend had to redo the essay bc maam changed his outline). Last con maam’s deadlines are super alanganin but for this, you can ask your beadle to ask ma’am! She is v considerate!! Hi to the #Godsent beadle istg HAHAHAHAHA Some tips: You’ll have 3 major essays that kind of have to be related to each other. I suggest you take the ideation part seriously. Take advantage of consultations & make sure your papers are insightful! Have fun in class istg she doesn’t mind if tumatawa ka during synch dba HAHAHAHHAHAHAHA we even make gago in the zoom chat smtms 🤣 (she pms me na she likes a super happy class!) Super A-able!more

took her for eng 11! PROS: - A-able! I missed a lot of discussion boards 🫡 but still got an A HAHAH just make sure to send her a gdoc or something with the ones you missed - it’s true that she’s understanding and kind! She’s always willing to discuss and negotiate deadlines - workload is light (didn’t have much groupworks ata mostly dbs and papers) - had consultations for every paper after we submit the outline! - submitted some stuff a couple of minutes late but no deduction naman i think? - grades high! just make sure to give your best effort:) -very responsive to emails/canvas messages CONS: - ayaw talaga niya lagyan ng deadline yung mga discussion board kahit anong pilit namin HAHAHAHA (she closes it after 2-4 working days ata) - she had google classroom and canvas at the same time 😐 which honestly just made things so much more complicated because you have to submit in both and check both hays - she only opened up the dbs again once then wala na naman - takes awhile to grade ( i think she moved the essay deadline 3 times because she wasn’t done with the outlines) But overall, she’s a good prof:) I enjoyed having hermore

I totally agree!!! Enjoyed this class and super dami ko rin memorable moments of the sem here!! Although instructions may seem very vague minsan, maam is very considerate and understanding so u have no problem asking her for help!! Consultations are super super helpful with her since you can clarify a lot of your misconceptions about your submissions, especially when submitting the three major essays. Pro tip is to work ahead of time so you don’t panic when the deadline is near or when maam gives the outline very late so just remember u can ask her for extensions when this happens!!! Overall a very fun class and the topics r really interesting too!! she doesnt mind if u r a crackhead or ur lutang even on cam or on mic i was literally laughing while presenting this meme during class HAHAHAHAHA SUPER DUPER A-ABLE i can totally vouch as someone who is really bad in essay writing!!!!more

hi op! was miss mye's beadle for my first sem in sophomore year (for ENLIT 12)she grades relatively high and i say this bcoz i consider her to be my easiest A in ateneo so far (even tho most core subjects feel more superior towards our actual majors)for as long as u always appear during in class assessments, participate, and do well in group activities, then u should be fineshe focuses more on personal input rather than trying to conform to an academic framework (in toto, i rarely cited ppl in my work but she still gave me vv high scores)the DBs afaik are optional but can help if u are in doubt (even tho i only answered two of them lol)she does give bonus points to students who deserve themmore

more or less solid prof!! :)) sakitin siya ngl last 2nd sem we only had onsite classes until march tas the rest online na HAHAHA - ma’am is kind!! fr she gives out advice on how to be better on writing out your points and teaches you ways on how your interpretation changes on your essay - she grades on dbs and groupworks, pray tho that her randomizer will give you good groupmates since that’s the groupings until finals (u have the option tho to submit individually). - lectures are pretty engaging but could be boring at times. that’s why she has index cards every lecture but the questions aren’t rlly that serious naman, parang personal side note lang na relevant sa lecture typa thing - chill and vibe si ma’am mye hehe she’s not that terror overall, B+ able, you can A her course as long as you lock in when doing you midterm and final essay. More or less, i think you’ll enjoy her class!! :))more
