Maayos magturo si sir nuesca kasi magaling siya sa physical chemistry eh and chem 17 ay more on physical chemistry and analytical kaya ayos naman. Although minsan sabaw magturo si sir nuesca talaga and medyo boring lalo na kapag nakadepend siya sa slides. Pero magaling siya magturo kapag more on boardworks ginagawa niya :)more

You can really feel Sir Nuesca's passion for Chemistry when he teaches. Plus, he didn't judge when I asked him questions about basic topics during consultation. He genuinely wants all his students to pass! I learned to love Chem because of his class. Even though I didn't get a high grade, he will always be one of my favorite profs in UP. :)more

I love Sir Nuesca! He's super nice and approachable although the lessons he teach seem too advanced for a Chem 1 class. We had two exams, exercises, 2 papers, and 1 group report. You really have to work hard to get a high grade in this class.more

He's a bit fast so I think someone with little background in chem would have a difficult time catching up. Tho for people that took chem 16 or higher na, super ez lang. A bit boring mag-lecture but he sends his slides + report handouts ng groups, so u can study at home naman in case you fall asleep in class hahaha.more

Super mabilis magturo ni sir. UVLE quizzes, while open notes, were difficult and usually 1-2 hrs long. LEs are fine since departmental naman, & sir is quite lenient with checking. IMO imposible makapasa w/ no self-study, expect to get nothing from the lecture sometimes. Very helpful LE reviews niya & nagcurve naman, but AFAIK many of his students didn't reach dos standing to be finals-exempt. :-)more

Sir is passionate in what he does. You’ll find him speaking continuously, non-stop and fast. That’s a nice thing because it maximizes the information you can learn in the limited class hours. However, note that this might not work for everyone. It’s a very self-study class, and his quizzes are really challenging, which is an advantage because it makes the LEs 10x easier. Super bait!more

The other reviews from 2024 are super accurate (pretty sure kaklase ko pa mga yon haha) but just to add, tho mahirap makasunod sa kaniya minsan kasi derederetso siya, after experiencing other chem profs mas pipiliin ko nalang to kasi atleast di stressful sa klase niya T-T (also very tito vibes siya). Just study his quizzes and accept na 90% self study talaga chem kahit saan ;(more
