No!!! Not at all omgg!! Tbh i struggle with histo classes in general, but his class was amazing. Discussions are always super fun and he tells events like a story, parang youre witnessing drama happening tapos chika lang. He doesn't call people for recitation, but you NEED to recite para mafull points mo yung grade percentage na yun. Quizzes are every week/other week and its on a 5 point basis (group quizzes are over 10), its either multiple choice or essay based, but everything is from the lecture or readings he gives. Take notes rin cuz he doesnt upload slides or recordings (unless online class or may personal reason siya to miss class). Midterm and final is over 50 and its for the whole period afaik. Be sure to study for it cuz some questions make it seem like may maraming tama, its very technical yung sagot like in the details. But seriously super bait ni sir and i think you'll really enjoy his classes. Imo no bs siya tho so dont try to make weak excuses for missing thingsmore

hellooo, took sir pante during my first sem. he’s a great prof! he teaches the class in filipino, and honestly, marami ka talagang makukuha sa subject niya. like what another commenter said na, expect a quiz every week or other week (pero 5-point quizzes lang naman). it would also help if you actively tuned into discussions (atleast 1-2 recits per week ideally) since yun talaga magpapahatak sa grade mo. expect also a midterm and final! and ang masasabi ko nalang for both assessments is kailangan talaga maging attentive sa details since technicalities will cost you a bit of minus points. pero overall, kaya naman na si sir, hope you’d enjoy his class like i enjoyed his!more

Not at all! I loved Sir Pante's class, and I would take it again if I could. He teaches as if he's telling a story, which makes the discussions really fun and engaging. In terms of recit, he doesn't call people—it's more on volunteering (up to you if you want to boost the recit component of ur grade). Expect a quiz every other week, but as long as you do the readings/listen in class, you'll be fine! I'd also suggest choosing good groupmates. One of the final requirements during our time was a group report. Overall, amazing prof!more

nope! he is a nice and insightful teacher! his materials and discussions are really clear, plus you can ask him pa for additional historical info which makes it fun! one of my tips is to just avoid being absent as much as possible, since there are quizzes very often and missing even one can affect ur grade haha 😅 they are easy, just read and/or listen to him! another is to recite a lot, since recitation is a big component!more
