Ineexpect niya na mabasa mo na yung readings before the f2f meeting. Kaya may async din is para magagawa yung activity kasi may set deadline talaga per week. Plenty of time naman para gawin mga activity. Pero pag may namiss, binigyan niya kami ng chance na ipasa (w/ deductions).more

Pros:- He knows what he is teaching. - Only had 5-7 zoom meetings with him and it is not mandatory.- Gives detailed instructions and rubric about the project- Always responds to inquiries.more

WORKLOAD: For our FIL 18, we had 3 discussion forums, 2 activity (mind map and research paper-like) and 1 paper presentation + peer assessment (by partner). Sobrang nareduce yung work load since dapat may 2 objective exams and RRL as final project pero hindi natuloy.more

STANDARDS: I got 1.25 sa kanya pero di ko alam how kasi nga he didn’t show yung breakdown ng grades. Pero siguro it might be lower if natuloy yung ibang papagawa, luckily yung mga madadali nalang natira. Medyo di ko parin talaga alam if ano standards ni sir pero I really think he likes student who are consistent and engaging.more

TIP: TRY TO SEND UR ACTIVITY BEFORE DEADLINE. He went mad at us because no one was posting in our discussion forum a week before deadline. Kaya cinancel niya muna yung ZOOM meeting namin para daw unahin namin yung dapat gawin. Scary. But ayun, be responsible lang talaga sa kanya.more

Overall, in terms sa prof, sir is great! But if sa subject difficulty, u just need to work extra hard para maintindihan mo mga Fil subjects. Goodluck!

Don’t be scared. Sir is actually a great prof naman talaga. I am not sure pero baka standard din na pareparehas lang ng pinapagawa sa lahat ng Fil subjects. So don’t let go of Sir Jayson kasi he knows what he is doing! Kaya mo ‘yan!more

He's strict with deadlines. He's also cute (ahihi). Pero most of all, magaling siyang magturo. Ginagawa niyang relevant ang kanyang mga lessons kaya di ka mabo-boring. Mahilig din siyang magpa-groupwork. Ang huling requirement namin sa kanya ay isang libro sa Fliptop na isusulat ng buong class na sobrang sayang gawin.more

Mabait si sir at madalas magupdate sa uvle.Nagbibigay rin sya ng bonus papers sa mga events kaugnay sa klase.Basta magbabasa ka ng required readings ay wala kang problema sa quiz o exam (isa lang ang quiz at final exam) pero madalas rin sya magpagroup work at project.more

Magaling si Sir magturo, makakarelate ka talaga sa mga lessons niya. May +0.25 ka rin pag perfect mo ang attendance. Medyo maraming readings pero okay naman siyang basahin tiyaka sinasabi na ni sir ang mga kailangang basahin habang maaga pa. Isang final exam at may mga quizzes din. May group project na ipapasa by the end of the semester. :))more

Must take! The class feels light but you actually get to learn a lot. Discussions are very fun (Sir jokes a lot) Fun rin gawin yung requirements ni sir. Lagi nag-uupdate sa UVLE pag may suspension or pag may kailangan. Very approachable rin siya in general. Good readings.more

Cute si Sir. Kahit halos puro discussions ng readings, hindi nakakaboring. Narerelate niya yung readings in real life. Minsan may simple skits at reporting. Marami kang magegets about our language at yung mga common mistakes. Madali lang yung mga exam basta mag take ng notes kapag discussion. Meet new friends. hahamore

One of the best Fil profs! Every discussion's interactive and not boring at all. I am not usually that interested in Filipino, but he has changed my opinion about that. Take him and you'll surely have a blast!more
