1. Classes are fun and intellectually stimulating. It's more of a seminar-style class rather than a lecture one - which I prefer btw. 2. Expect, however, that your grounding on Philippine politics would be somehow weaker and more limited than everyone else's. Very limited matututunan mo dahil nakabase lang talaga sa lecture niya. Kailangan may photographic memory ka at magaling ka mag memorya dahil very verbatim pati sa exam. If you're planning to take Law, this can be an early training. Sobrang na-enjoy ko ang class! One of the best!more

Definitely one of the best profs I ever had in UP. Super daming matututunan. Very helpful sa mga gustong mag-law school. Although nakakasindak yung recitation kasi para kayong nasa lotto (bubunutin nya mula sa class cards yung "person of the day" na mag-rerecite). Pero basta memorize mo yung lecture niya, masasagot mo lahat ng 5 tanong niya.more

One of those UP professors with old-timer standards. Very strict when it comes to attendance, punctuality, and seat plan. Though most of the time his teaching method is the 'banking' type of lecturing, he actually makes some pretty sound arguments in airing issues related with the course subject. Also very approachable despite his 'serious' aura.more

You will read and memorize a lot, whether you like it or not. Papasa ka kahit hindi ka magkabisado ng consti, pero nakakatulong talaga pag nagbabasa ka. Sobrang structured at sobrang nakakaintimidate pagkaemail sa’yo sa simula pero once you take the classes face-to-face, it all boils down to interest and learnings.
