The class is relatively manageable. You will be doing group online presentations 2-3 times. Doc Quimpo is based in Japan, if you need to coordinate with him it would be best to email his assigned teaching assistant. The readings are the content that you will be presenting for your group works. Ideally just deliver the main arguments and come up with witty questions to pose to the class as food for thought
The course tackles several versions of democracy outside of the typical understanding of such. The course is not A-able for most due to Doc Quimpo being the number 1 expert on the topic, but Doc is kind if you request for your assessments to be reevaluated.more

Readings
-There are a lot of readings but I must say that Doc Quimpo selected the best and most interesting readings you need to understand the course
Difficulty
-Honestly, yes it was quite difficult because as mentioned, Doc Quimpo is a renowned expert in the field but I can say for sure na hindi sayang tuition o oras mo with Doc
-As the saying goes, nothing worth it is easy. Be willing to put in the work for this subject. It will be worth it.
-He will not fail anyone, just do your best!

-THE kindest professor ever, very encouraging, smiling, and patient
-THE expert talaga I really respect him so much for his work and his passion
-His brilliance makes me shy to recite in class sometimes because I feel like I am sputtering nonsense in front of a legend (i mean, i probably was...) but he never made anyone feel small
-Provides constructive criticism as needed
-Loves it when people engage in the discussion
