During Q4 2021 Online classes, we only had:
2 DBs
1 Individual Case Mission Study
1 Group Paper (divided into 2 sections with different submission dates)
1 Group Presentation (15 mins max)
The group project is about having an HR audit study on (a) chosen company or (b) provided company case. It's highly encouraged to select choice A so you can really learn a lot; however it requires more effort on the part of the grp member who will act as the main liaison on gathering the needed information you need.
Sir is an angel. Super approachable and understanding. 10/10. So easy to raise concerns and make arrangements on the study plan. He's so agreeable like when we asked to exceed the page count, he readily accepted it.
He loves calling people randomly for recitation but it's not scary. He just wants to keep the class engaged and at the same wants to verbally hear your thoughts. I also highly encourage you to join his synch classes even if he really maximizes the time.
He also grades high which is a big plus. more

Tbh super chill prof !! He’s the type to go on and on abt the lesson regardless of whether or not the class is paying attention? I’m p sure he knows that the ppl who sit at the back don’t listen but he just doesn’t call them out. Not gonna lie though it’s medj hard to pay attention in class because it’s not as engaging as you’d like it to be, but honestly you can ace his test by just memorizing his ppts even if you don’t listen! He grades generously, almost everyone in the class got a B+ or A. On the down side though, you won’t really learn much from him but super chill class for sure!more

when he teaches, he doesn't just read the slides so that reflects how much he knows what he teaches! he is very generous with examples so u'd understand the lessons talaga.
i forgot how many reqs we had, but they're manageable (meron papers, presentations, LTs). he graded our papers n presentation fairly high, medj mahirap lang talaga yung two LTs 😊more

manageable workload, although groupings during our class was based on the order of the class list, usual lecture pero he goes through the basic module given by canvas pero he is very very insightful given he manages/owns resto franchise + director ng isang hospital so most of his lectures magkkwento siya ng real life applications that will make u understand the lesson. explains concepts through digestible and relatable illustrations. Reqs, manageable 2-4 quizzes (we had 2 lang ata due to time constraints, 2 LTs (study here!!!), group paper (2 passes) which is mainly audit from your chosen company + final paper based on 2 passes and a presentation + one individual paper. calls students randomly in class to engage them pero hindi terror type hehe sir is very very kind and approachable!!more

HI! I LOVE DOC HUHUHU SUPER GOOD VIBES AND MABAIT. He's a doctor but iirc he also has an MBA he knows his stuff i enjoyed his lectures kasi super interesting kahit na 8am HAHAHAHA workload is saks lang, tho i enjoyed doing them din and he grades fairly high sa papers and presentations as long as hindi mema.
medj mahirap lang yung long tests niya! but i enjoyed LAS 111 with him hehe

he was my prof last year for LAS 111 and i've honestly never thought human resources could be SO DIFFICULT. he provides the materials on the canvas beforehand and its very detailed so u can study ahead of time but his tests were SO DIFFICULT. its objective, requires a lot of memorization but at the same time u need to understand it talaga. also we had groupworks and a final presentation but he's very particular about what he wants so if u dont give it hes gonna grill u...BUT!! on the bright side!! despite my medyo low effort and performing badly in the long tests i still managed to get a B :,))
big pro about him is that he grades high hehe i mean he grilled my grp but we still got an A anyway for the final!
and regarding the onsite/online, for us we had 2x a week, one day online one day onsite. it was asynch ocassionally onlymore

lowest he gave was 92 on essays/discussion boards, so magkakatalo lang yung grade mo sa exam/quiz!
his exams are usually multiple choice, enumeration (sobrang dami), and essay/application!! mahirap exams niya solely because nagpapaenumerate siya ng kung ano ano na hindi mo ieexpect!
overall okay naman siya and magaling siya magturo hehehe very fun teachermore

Hi! I had him for LAS 21, although this was back in 2023. He's good! If memory serves me right, I remember his lessons being very much on concepts and frameworks, but what was most memorable about him to me were his lectures; they were engaging and he related them to his real-world experiences, and sometimes he put forward hypothetical scenarios that really got us thinking—sometimes he even gave out very practical tips on how to be a good leader.
That's the most that I remember about him, I'm afraid, and I'm not sure how he's like now. But if he's anything like he was when I took him, then you're in good hands. A-able!
If you want the most value out of his class, listen to his lectures intently, participate in them, and ask him questions; his course content, I don't recall as being particularly interesting to me—it was his lectures that made him stand out to me.more
