he’s actually not so bad :)) had him for histo 11 last intersessiontldr: A-able with extreme effort, read his readings tlga, get good groupmates - his requirements during intersession included: 6 5-point quizzes, 1 midterm long test, 1 individual article review, and 1 group Wikipedia page review. overall, his requirements have relatively low HPS so every mistake may have a more significant impact on your final grade.- sir heavily discourages the use of all gadgets during his classes, even for note-taking. despite that, his lectures are always delivered at a fair pace! ppts are easy to follow and you’ll be able to take note of more or less everything he discusses. highly recommend taking down notes especially since sir doesn’t give his ppts (and is strict abt this hehe)- readings for me were pretty good but generally speaking, they’re quite lengthy but kayang-kaya yan for sure! they make up most of the bulk ng coverage for the quizzes and long test so do keep that in mind :))- no po, sir does not curve hehe but he’s definitely fair in grading! he gives thorough reviews and comments on your outputs so you know where to improve. he’s also more than willing to consult so i’d highly recommend that!- easy B/B+, a difficult A but kaya with extreme effortmore

Love sir Diego! ☺️ I got a B+ bc I barely read the readings haha but I definitely think an A is doable 🙂 Read the assigned materials + listen in class and you’ll be fine! Mej high standards siya though sa mga outputs 😞 But he is open for consultation! Kulitin niyo lang siya hahaha. Quizzes are okay naman, 5 items multiple choice!
The session before our LT, he flashed multiple “possible” essay questions on the screen and told us to prepare for them all because he’d include one on the test. He ended up letting us choose what essay question we wanted to answer!
My standing was pretty high but what pulled it down was the LT (I got an okay score but since it was intersession and there was only one test, it weighed a lot) + my participation grade (you need to recite!!!) + the final group paper (but not too low naman, don’t worry hehe). Just review for the LT and talk in class 🙂
Overall he’s super nice, he still greets me when we run into each other on campus 💕 And I promise you could have gotten someone a lot worse hahamore

vouch also <3 he also gives bonuses pala sa quizzes na walang kinalaman sa content ng readings mismo HAHAHA so once u find out what these are like, maximize them B))
i'll also note tho that he has a class participation component but there weren't many opportunities to recite as intersession progressed since nakukulangan kami sa time T^T so i believe try to make urself known instead by engaging in the class in other ways!more

(in the same class as Rey, the previous commenter here) do not be his beadle oh my god,,, the experience was regrettable. a bit disorganized in terms of ppt but he seems to have that spirit for history. really personal anecdote but i wouldnt want to revisit the histo 11 class
on the bright side, the selection of readings you are given and can take is actually really interesting, though personally i was overwhelmed with how time consuming it was.more
