i had sir. aaron last year and his orals are specific and particular, but he gives you the resources to really prepare for such. to really repair, make sure to actively listen and jot down notes because he will both say and present things that matter in the orals (and are just really profound learnings as well). another thing: last year, he gave us examples of what he may ask during the assessment so that we could prepare. the examples were plenty though + on the day of your orals, you have to draw a random question, so nonetheless it’s a lot to study. he also gave us leading questions during the orals to guide us to the answers he might be looking for. if there is something erroneous in the answer though, you’ll have to wait til’ after you recite for sir to tell you before you leave. overall, he’s a really good lecturer and theologian that is worth listening to, whether it’s for orals or just theology as a whole. so listening and noting what he says is important for these orals!more

his class is stress-free to me because everything is so organized. he uploads module notes so just print them and annotate in class. he doesn't overtime too; sakto yung lectures niya. i took him first sem of last sy and parang nakita niya na nahirapan yung class namin sa tests despite it being mostly mulcho and objective so he might have made it easier second sem onwards. he did give us a few bonus points din to pull our grades higher within reason.
he also coordinated well with our nstp formator, so deadlines didn't feel stressful kasi he's mindful of how it intersects with nstp requirements. i think i got a B+ with minimal effort (+ heavy sem load), so definitely A-able with some effort to understand the class further.more

if you mean Aaron Reyes, i would say he’s A-able but with MAX effort!
The workload is also fine. You just need the day (or the night before) when prepping for his quizzes and summatives. Do rlly well with the midterms and the NSTP final presentation if you scored low on the quizzes (boosted my grade from B to A!) These two require a lot more time to prepare.
Sir Aaron is a really great and well-prepared prof. As long as you listen to him during class, it’s enough to get you a B.
Buuut like with any great prof, he also has (reasonably) high standards.
If ever u choose/end up with him:
- Take note of every single thing he says
- Make sure u write fast
- Reflect on and be transformed by the lessons, don’t just listen to them
- Get good groupmates for the final project
- Be a good person

his lt's were a bit confusing for me but i think he understood the class was struggling so he gave us small bonus points opportunities hehe. his workload was sakto lang and thats coming from someone who had a 25 unit load excluding nstp pa when i took him 😵💫
his classes were super organized. i think he's the most organized prof i've ever had! he lays down his expectations first session pa lang bc there's a certain flow to his class. no gadgets but he does have handouts that you can print:) u do have to recite at least once in his class then after that ur ok na for the sem HAHA
hes such a nice guy overall! i wouldnt say hes a high grader but not low either. got a B+ with minimal effort in his classmore

He’s chill! Medyo nakakaantok lang kasi his voice is kinda deep so parang narrator kausap mo. But he grades decently, I’d recommend taking his quizzes very seriously, cause a large chunk of the grade comes from that.
B-able if you’re not the best studier, but definitely A-able if you’re willing to exert the effortmore

If you love star wars he's a good prof. Medj nakakaantok lang siya magturo so I don't recommend him for timeslots around 12-2pm. I beadled for him and he allowed me one extra prompt for his orals. Overall great prof easy B-B+. Also! Do recite because aside from the fact that it will pull up your grades, it's just fun having a conversation with sir 🙂more

You're in good hands! First day of classes one of the first things he said was "I won't force a belief unto you" which was really refreshing for a religion related class.
His discussions are in depth and he uses a lot of real world examples to provide context. He allows gadgets but make sure you use them for note taking.
For requirements he likes to give quizzes throughout the semester. But just listening to the discussions and taking notes of the things he highlights in the powerpoint should be enough to get you a perfect score in most.
Most papers were individual and the last was group work just make sure to apply the things he highlights to get a good grade.
Overall the class average was B+ to A.more

had him for theo 11 and what me and my friends did was we all divided the thesis statements so the workload wouldnt be too heavy :> for the oral exam itself make sure to incorporate everything he said during the lectures and whats on the handouts! don’t know how it is now but i asked him if i could write on the whiteboard and he allowed me to so i used that as a guide throughout my discussion of the thesis statement i got. goodluck!more

for orals, if he thinks you are lacking explanation for something or you said something he thinks is conflicting with the rest of your speech, he will be asking follow up questions until he gets the answer he wants.
if he thinks your speech is above his standards, then your orals will be short, and rest assured you’ll get a high grade.
tldr, if you want a high grade for both your essays and orals, you have to be able to discuss the thesis statement word for word based on how he taught it. so you really have to pay attention to him during class.more

idk if this is for THEO 11 pero in my experience
May hinahanap talaga si sir na word/phrase and he really wants you to really incorporate every bit of the thesis statement into your answer. I can’t really give you good tips cos i bombed mine pero what my friend did was to mentioned every bit ng handout that he gave and some points from the lectures and she got an A
Looking back at it now, you can hati the thesis into bits muna and then explain part by part then conclude everything by the end.
tldr: mention everything in the handouts and lecturemore
