He made us make our own language as a requirement and sobrang hassle if you can't rely on your (randomly picked) groupmates. Don't take if you're not ready to spend time outside of class hours or if you don't like working with other people.more

I'd give Sir Vinci a perfect score pero sadyang mahirap lang talaga requirements niya. The group project of making our own language had so much technicalities and sobrang hirap. :(more

He's okay naman in teaching (sabog lang minsan). His requirements were hard to do especially the making of the language video project.

Honestly one of the best professors out there, he is very approachable and if you can't understand a certain topic he will really help you out. His class is both challenging and fun and you will learn a lot. I'd recommend it, 10/10 for those who are interested in taking Lingg 110.more

Di' siya easy pero gusto ko lang talaga siyang bigyan ng perfect in all aspects HAHA 'cause for me if you listen to him every class ez na lang sayo pinapagawa niya. Promise, kunin niyo. SOLID! Can i give 10 stars for helpfulness? Sir Vincci is <3 Hirap akong magkeep up sa class kasi mahirap talaga ang usaping Austronesian lang. Sangkatutak na readings that took me 4ever to understand. Pero sobrang patient ni sir kahit ang delinquent ko na, dami ko pang lates. Super organized niya sa lahat, from scheds to emails to all his wytboard pens!more

Kahit binibigay yung slides but still take down notes kasi minsan hindi gumagawa ng powerpoint si sir :). The exams were super easy basta aral lang. The language journals were very fun to do. Overall, the class was pretty chill and unoable. Just do all the requirements pero bigyan ng effort.more

SUPER FUN CLASS!!! It helps na millenial-ish si Sir lalo na sa pagbibigay ng examples during lessons kasi makakarelate lahat. Sobrang pampawala ng stress yung class na ito. :)more

Super fun ng class because sir will always make it to a point na ma-connect ang linguistic concepts to the current, "millennial" context. Also, he doesn't only rely on discussing because he also uses videos, episodes, and documentaries which are informative and interesting. Note: mas fun ang class if marami can speak other Philippine languages :)more

I think Sir made Lingg 1 a little bit harder because students were taking advantage of his kindness. There were five papers, a group project, midterms and finals. The exams were quite hard and the group project was a hassle to do if you have a heavy sem.more

His class was the best part of my sem. Honestly, I don't understand why mababa yung ratings nya dito. Sir made sure that the class was fun. Hindi naman hassle yung requirements nya considering na yung journal entries ay once every two weeks and the final project ay group mo bahala sa concept.more
