I'd legit be amazed at whoever gets an A in this class. His LTs are next-level whack and no matter how hard you try to study it, there's still no guarantee that you'll reap what you sow. I guess it helps if you try to be on the same wavelength with them? But how do you even do that hahahahahaha You can try to bawi through the other reqs but no guarantees that you actually will. I have no idea how he graded our other reqs (case studies, oral exams, etc.) but he let our classmates (as a group) grade our presentation so there's that. Grade range is usually C to B ata. Good luck na lang probably one of the hardest Bs of my life.more

Honestly my ONE and ONLY worst subject last sem You’re going to have two long tests that no matter how much you study like ewan talaga idk kung ano gusto nila makuha namin sa test like mukhang kaya naman pero pagdating ng score pak barely passing sksksk and you’ll have a case study na by group, and a group report with the same group, and a final oral exam All of these are 25% kaya they all weigh the same diba wtf and omg idk anyone who got an A dito sobrang hassle talaga, puro C or C+ and if you’re lucky, B (the case study is 25 points so that’s 25/100 of your grade; tests are over 50, report is over 100) Di naman sa di sila magaling magturo, they know their stuff pero minsan di mo talaga magegets kasi either sobrang specific ng hinahanap nila or common sense lang di na magiging common sense after their lecture also they take turns in lecturing (or kung sino man present, pero you won’t be lost in their flow I got a C+ and I was so if you’re planning to get an A, don’t get your hopes up like highest ata is B with EFFORT the clownery talaga! And they don’t check attendance like sige cut galore pero kapag nabunot index card mo tapos wala ka bye HAHA If kaya, loadrev na
Hello! I got Doc Marquez for sci 10 before (but i dont think Eustaquio was his partner prof before) but almost all our lectures were done by doc marquez! He does index card recits so be prepared haha and his LT’s are kinda difficult because it felt like i didn’t know what to answer in his LT’s even if i read everything i needed you just really need to listen in his lectures and take notes! He has finals orals with written finals haha so medj heavymore

positiveSTS10
Attitude: She’s very chill and understanding. She doesn’t record attendance much (and by the end of our semester, she announced that it will serve as bonus points for quizzes). She’s approachable for anything about acads and even about health advice (since she is a doctor).
Teaching Style: Her teaching style is not the most engaging, but it is very understandable (though I don’t know if this is just because STS10 is a subject that is very easy to understand). Take notes though, as her lectures are more digestible and useful for the requirements than the Canvas materials.
Workload: Very light (two online quizzes, one group report, one reflection paper, and one oral exams). The only problem I had were the quizzes which, in total, had 40 items and took 40% of the grade (so each mistake amounted to 1 point deducted from your grade). Unfortunately, the quizzes were somewhat confusing (with a mean score of around 15-16 for each quiz), but passable if you took notes on her class. On the other hand, the group report, reflection paper, and orals (which only had 4 possible thesis questions) are quite light (though I can’t confirm the orals since I have yet to take it).
Grading: Can’t comment yet since I’m still taking her class. A big problem would be her confusing quizzes, where as I said, totaled 40 points and took 40% of the grade.
Tips: Just take notes on her class. You can cut a lot since she doesn’t take attendance, but going to class gives you the benefits of potential bonus points (if she takes attendance) and making your requirements easier to do.
Overall, take her if you want an easy time on STS10. I can’t comment on the grades now since I’m still taking her, but maybe she is an easy B/B+, A with some luck and effortmore
