Currently taking his class (1st Sem 25-26, IDS 180.13i)
In terms workload:
- Sir assigns a reading for almost every meeting (so that’s 1-2 a week)
- Regarding the assigned readings, I highly recommend reading them prior to attending class because our discussions would always revolve around them
- Sir will ask the class questions, and if no one recites, the discussion will not move forward
- If I’m not mistaken, there’s a weekly writing exercise which is really helpful in preparing for the class’ 3 major outputs
- The three major outputs include 2 textual analyses and a final project
As a prof, sir’s very nice and approachable. He teaches the topics clearly, and his materials are interesting.
If you’re used to or have no problem looking into details, analyzing, then writing about them, you’ll likely find this class easy.more
