Beyond exaggerations, I think she’s a fairly manageable prof kasi her assignments are actually not that much and heavy. Big 🚩🚩 lang talaga niya ay super specific nya sa mga answers, especially sa ideas ng essays/assignments mo kasi she always wants a correct answer. With that in mind, ur best bet is to analyze her comments closely. If you can consult, ask her what stuff can you improve kasi it will really help u. Afaik, she favors content and meaning more than textual presentation. Kahit gaano pa kaganda pakinggan gawa mo, if hindi mo na hit ung sagot na gusto nyang makita, it will score low. I suggest to write briefly but meaningfully. Think of, if im gonna add this idea or point to my work, will it encapsulate or represent the answer ma’am wants to see from the text? Sumtimes people’s answers are incomplete kahit correct, or masyado nang overboard, and these kinds of errors merit lots of minus points. Majority of ur grades will be sa midterms and finals. Midterms is a bit mahirap kasi its an on the spot exam, but finals is a bit manageable kasi for us it was a literary essay. I suggest sa finals consult your draft or outline para makita ni maam ideas mo kasi the text to be analyzed sa finals is mostly likely the hardest text you guys r gonna read for the course (majority of my classmates scored low here kasi super ambiguous tlaga ung meaning nung text namin). As always, advance read ur readings and try to analyze it closely na kasi she sumtimes throw surprise quizzes. She appreciates and is kinder to people who recite a lot so take advantage of that kasi there was one time i submitted an output late pero perfect pa rin ako 😇 Goodluck and be happy na sa B+more

ENLIT 12 midterms were departmental

not for your prof, but i took enlit 12 last year and the midterms were departmental. so they were the same across all classes (i think). they gave u two readings: one poem and one short story. u will be asked questions about each reading- some multiple choice, some modified true or false. then you'll be asked to write an essay about one of the two readings (your choice). i don't remember exactly the instructions for the essay anymore or what it was about, but it was your standard intro-body-conclusion essay. hopefully this helps, even if ur prof isn't the same as mine :)more
