Ma'am is an AMAZING prof. Strict but reasonable. She's a very inspiring teacher and because of her, I rediscovered my love for politics. I was so motivated to the point that I decided to memorize the entire Philippine constitution. :3more

You really need to memorize certain articles of the Phil. Constitution and all her slide lectures to pass. Mostly objective exams. Discussions were quite a snooze fest but instructor is personally fine. +0.25 for perfect attendance.more

Her exams are hard, requiring complete memorization and understanding of lectures and articles of the Philippine Constitution; however, all materials for studying are already given. Discusses current issues and explains these matters as related legally, increasing one's knowledge of daily affairs (will not appear on exams). Definitely worth taking.more

Ma'am Pilapil is simply one of the best professors in UP. Her pedagogy, her social awareness discussions are really helping us understand the landscape of Phil. Politics. Memorization heavy but once you get the hang of her first exam, it'd be easy taking her final exam na because they are the same, only the coverage was different! Highly suggested!more

Ma'am Pilapil goes to class prepared with her slides updated with the latest news about politics. Her exams are objective and reasonable. Her class seems chill but you actually have to prepare well for the exams. She motivates students to do well in her class by giving away prizes after the exam results. A MUST TAKE PROF. (TY SO MUCH MA'AM!)more

Easily passable, but you have to exert a little more than "saks lang" effort if you want a line of 1 grade. Ma'am is a great prof, though I would understand if others don't like her teaching style. Exams are okay once you get the hang of memorizing parts of the lectures. Interesting discussions about Philippine politics make the class worth taking!more

Kailangan talagang basahin ang Phil Consti kasi 20% ng exam, dun manggagaling. The rest, sa mga powerpoints niya. Objective ang exams kaya kailangang makinig (at mag-aral ng mabuti) para makakuha ng mataas na grade. Strict yet motherly si Ma'am! Saka recite lang :) Hindi namamahiya si Ma'am. Wag aabsent dahil malaki ang mawawala sa grade! :)more

Sa una medj intimidating kasi andaming house rules, ang laking demerit kapag nalabag mo ang mga yun! Pero, masasanay ka rin all throughout the rest of the sem. Hindi na ganun ka-serious ang atmosphere. In fairness, havey mga jokes ni Ma'am! Aral lng talagang mabuti kasi 2 exam lang ang pagkukuhanan ng 85% ng grades. P.S. Considerate siya sa gradesmore

NO. Her exams are hard. Discussions are boring because she speaks so soft. Super low magbigay ng grade. Spare yourself!

Nakakaoverwhelm at first because of the house rules pero discussion wise ok naman siya. The only problem about is the reqs which just consists of three things: attendance/ethics, and two long exams which constitutes 80% of your grade. And man, her exams are hard since memorization ang kailangan. Cover to cover, word for word. Goodluck nalang but if given another option, I wouldn't take her.more
