Anonymous member no worries! the lab is honestly not worth losing sleep over LOL u will survive as long as u studied. u have all period to finish the lab, so just be there on time. like sir says, "Cs get degrees!"more

Winfer Tabares the goat. had him for MATH 30.13 and 30.14 five semesters ago lol. he'd usually give a sample LT and most of the items there appear sa mismong long test (like literal na babaguhin niya lang yung given but the structure of the questions were mostly the same lol). Hindi ko lang alam ngayon haha. Con lang is hindi siya masyado interactive sa class beyond sa kung ano yung tinuturo niya perooo in terms of teaching, wala naman ako masasabi HAHAHA. Considerate and mataas din siya mag partial points soo yeah go get him if u have the opportunity hehe

Anonymous member 136 My advice is to carefully read the specs and practice on whatever topic sir gives cause it’s your best way to be familiar on the topic. Additionally, be time conscious also when doing the lab! Class is A-ble with effort (got a B+ cause of labs ) it’s just be ready to with your reading comprehension skillsmore

hiii im ngl all the "run" comments are jokes from my blockmates bc we have a love-hate relationship with this man 😭😭😭 he's not a terror, he's a very chill guy (perhaps a little too chill... as u may have noticed) but honestly his labs are doable. this is coming from someone who (barely) got an A in his class. if you have a firm grasp of the concepts, you can definitely get a good score. be VERY careful with the format of your answers. if the question asks for X format, be sure to follow it or the website will mark it incorrect. (one time, majority of my block didn't see an instruction that only showed up Before opening the lab and more than 50% of our answers were marked incorrect. after like 5 minutes of begging, sir agreed to give 3/4 points to correct items with incorrect format. so BEGGING WORKS. just don't make a habit of it lol.) looking back on it now, his labs weren't hard. if you understand the topic and know how to apply it, ur fine. i do not think you can fail this class unless you consciously try to do so. and it's definitely A-able. his labs might differ from year to year, so maybe try asking him what the lab might be like 1-2 meetings before said lab. if he answers, great! if not, err... u'll probably still be fine.more

Sir Ian is the GOAT... Assuming you're a CS major, if you don't finish with at LEAST a B wtf did you do. At least for me kahit medyo magulo yung pagturo niya he does get the point across and he knows what he's doing. Like others have said he does a lot to get you on board the CS mentality. Read and follow instructions to a T, get straight to the point, if it works it works, simplest answer is most likely the correct one, all that stuff. Which is SUPER important for CSCI 20. If for whatever reason you "flunk" a quiz... look man I zero-brained a handful and still finished with an A so you'll do fine if you know what you're doing.more

Hi! currently taking sir errol rn and he’s ok naman at teaching and is lenient with grading. con lang is i think hes kinda fast at teaching but just ask him to slow down and he will explain it again! he may or may not also make mistakes here and there while solving. i think he’s a good backup prof if ever the slots for tabares are gone.more

had her for math 30.13 intersession! imo she's good. the subject itself is challenging so u have to supplement class discussions with self studying din. the way she teaches can be a bit confusing esp if you're kinda rusty with algebra, but she always encouraged us to ask questions or schedule consultations. she also checks the quizzes super fast! like if the quiz is on monday morning, by monday late night may uploaded answer key na sa canvas and she'll return the actual paper by tuesday. may comments din sa paper about your class standing and afaik if it's borderline d/f, she'll tell you to consult with her. she also gave us mock tests (with notes and reminders) to prepare for the quizzes and finals! she's rlly passionate about teaching, so kahit mahirap siyang intindihin sometimes, i still like her!more
