i had sir yu for fre 12 and he's a good prof! we had paired orals almost every week (although he would tell us in advance so we could prepare a script, u cant read it during the actual oral itself) and he prepares a lot of activities during lessons. he uses kahoot or canvas a lot during onsite class itself so make sure u have data in case the wifi in som (where his classes usually are) acts up again.
other than the orals, he also gives a lot of homework on canvas in the form of discussion boards and online quizzes. everything is graded, but he also gives really good feedback if you do make a mistake.
but beyond the workload, he explains concepts really well and he answers any questions or confusions kindly and patiently. sir is really funny and will probably crack a lot of jokes during discussion. before i filmed my final output, i emailed my script to him and he corrected all the mistakes, which really helped with my final score.
