That first exam though. I bet people taking this subject just for the sake of finishing their SSPs must be looking long and hard about this decision. It would really helped if she used a ppt as as much as she knows if she can't teach it fluidly the class ends with a mess of notes and ideas and no solid grasp of the topic. no to chalk and talkmore

Ma'am is a new grad so it feels like she's just your classmate. Very helpful and understanding but walang structure yung pagturo niya (no ppts etc). pero may syllabus naman. 0.25 incentive kung no absence. Reqs: 2 LE's, 3 quiz, 1 group presentation, and lots of incentives. Do these incentives. Pero kailangan talaga effort to do well. I got an uno.more

Ang sabaw ni ma'am LOL. Ang hirap magpaexam pero dinalian niya yung 2nd LE namin kasi natrauma na raw siya ang sad. May paper dapat pero ginawa niyang creative project. Maraming incentives. Marami ka ring matututunan sa kanya. Though boring minsan yung discussion lalo na pag group pero overall she's okay. I recommend her if you want a challenge! <3more

You really have to study to do well. Naka uno ako pero I worked hard for it. Mahirap mag-exam si Ma'am, pero worth it talaga. Hate ko si Ma'am kasi ang hirap niya mag-exam, pero love ko siya kasi sobrang sabaw niya and she will really teach you a lot of things (hahaha!). She also has lots of incentives to push up your grade also.more

Interactive naman sa class namin, kailangan magbato rin kayo ng ideas nyo kay mam at ang funny ng mga examples nya haha and yes, ang daming alam ni mam at mafifeel mo yun sa exams nya huhu, kaya aral ka rin beh, basahin mo readings nya!! Yung mga sinusulat nya sa board very helpful yun. Mabait si mam and cute sya. Aral at effort-effort beh. ❤more

Minsan medyo sabaw pero matino naman yung tinuturo niya. Pag alam niyang medyo di na ma-gets ng class, dadalian niya yung example. Medyo magulo kasi yung Philo so hindi ko din siya masisi kung medyo magulo yung lessons. Nagbibigay din siya ng personal notes niya nung student pa siya pero magnotes at magbasa pa din ng readings.more

Readings are thick but interesting. Discussions are fun but you have to jot down notes kasi medyo confusing. May group reports (TIP: Use ppt) pero kina-clarify niya pa rin naman a meeting after. Exams are hard but passable (I relied heavily on one of the alternative references she gave us at the start of sem). +0.25 for perfect attendance.more

Ma'am is a ball of sabaw, but the discussions remain insightful. First exam was difficult, but (luckily) was replaced with a paper since they burned down. Class is chill but you learn a lot. Req's aren't that hassle. She is really considerate in grading, based from the unexpected grade I got last sem hahaha. You'll enjoy Philo1!more

The exams are okay as long as you put some effort, always listen to the points that she stresses in her lectures. The class setup is really commendable since every session involves interaction among students and makes sure that every one enjoys learning philosophy even though it may be difficult to read by the book. Learning Philo 1 with group interactive sessions is really an effective mean of making philosophy an impact to the society.more

She's really nice and approachable, funny and charming, but she doesn't teach very well. Very messy, unorganized, distracted manner of teaching primarily because she has no powerpoint, so everything she's saying is straight from her head. She does know her subject though, and is very generous with incentives (attendance, reaction papers).more

Maam is super sabaw and I stopped listening after the first LE, yet I got 1.5 Lessons are taught by students in group presentations, the largest grade component (although she goes over them after). Quizzes are given but are essentially free. Two LEs, pretty easy if you listen, since she tells you what will come up. Fun class TBH, Maam is friendly.more

You have 1 group report, midterms, recit, and attendance as major components of your grade. Basically, siya magtuturo sa simula tas susunda na ng group reports ninyo hanggang dulo. In short, medj nakakabore kase kayo-kayo lang sin nagtuturo pero nageexpound and comment siya. Hindi siya traditional philo prof as many would say, mabait sobra. But the pedagogy is kinda iffymore
