Hello, took her class last semester! She makes it clear from the start that minimum effort can only get you to B+ (but got an A by some miracle) so it’s best to try and place effort towards her assessments given that medyo kaunti lang din ang pinapaassign niya as compared to other professors. Her assessments are creative-based (like creating a short vlog regarding a topic, and having a magazine as your final output), so ensure na your topic can not only be engaging to yourself but also her so she can understand the connection that you’re aiming for. Regarding “boring”, it ultimately depends sa interests mo. For me, some of the readings are interesting naman and some are not, pero you’ll be required to present a reading during the semester so you might find an engaging reading for you naman din!more

I took her for Fili 11.1 (for foreign students) physical class. She's very mahinhin and her classes are very boring like I would sometimes play with my phone and she wouldn't mind at all (I didn't listen bc most of the lessons were on grammar and I'm fairly fluent already). I got a B without reading any of the readings😵. If you're "actually" a foreign student, just work hard she's pretty aight. If you're not a foreign student (like me, who just got lucky😌), it's pretty chill; tho idk abt online classes. Also y'all might have to do an infographic like we did but she grades fairly naman.more

Hi! Took her last school year first semester. Workload is a little heavy at first (but manageable naman) but she's considerate when it comes to adjustments! When the semester was shortened she cancelled some of them. Aside from the regular assessments she gives creative outputs as well. Grade-wise though she grades fairly but it's alright as long as you have understood the literary pieces and connected them to your outputs. I'm not good at Filipino, but I think her class is A-able with effort!more

Hi. I took her when we still had physical classes. She was okay and her class wasn't too hard. It was pretty boring though. Grades wise you need to work for an A. She's really nice though. Her reqs during physical classes were group reports, group paper, and some individual papers as wellmore

Mabait sya pero boring. Manageable, pero di mo talaga alam ano nangyayari sa class hahahaha. Parang yung readings hindi maintindihan at all? Well we had fili12 yung second quarter (aka nung nagka ulysses) so lucky kami na maiksi lang fili namin. B+ sya usually. more

snoozefest, repetitive in teaching the same module got an A cause she curved for our class but frankly don't remember anything else. if it's not pre-enlisted anymore, please find another quality instructor. if yes, then goodluck nonetheless; you'll just have to self-study if you want to get more out of that course (as in do your own research if you want to satisfy your curiosity about the stuff she talks about cause i remember her discussions to be very surface-level)more

i took ma’am abeleda when I was a freshie. she’s definitely A-able just pass the requirements and try to put some effort and she’ll cap you with a high grade with a sweet comment! her requirements are essays, onsite essays, objective quizzes which are easy just listen to her lectures try to sit in front or near ms abeleda’s table because her voice was so sweet and soft it made me sleepy everytime! overall, chill and A-able !more
