Interesting class, intersession workload too much, B+ with effort

had him this intersession! ended up w a B+ but that was with a lot of effort. i found the class pretty interesting (readings + movies intrigued me), but his actual lectures can feel tedious. he might be better to take over a normal sem since the workload is stretched out, but the workload felt like it was too much during intersession. you have to study well for his quizzes (usually identification + essay type) and make sure to get good groupmates since the latter assignments are all by group. i agree w the other commenter — only take his class if ur passionate about the subject, otherwise it isn't worth the suffering (and qpi hit)more
