Hi I finished Ma'am TJ's class recently this week and would like to give some points!! Review - Relatively new teacher so give her some time to fully adjust to the different systems that we have in class - Suuuuper suuper kind and was available even for our 8 - 9PM consultations T^T - Very very passionate when it comes to teaching students since it's in line with her advocacy of passing down design thinking as a means to empathize and care for the people around us - If it's in your capacity, you will learn a lot not only about how to innovate but how to have empathy not only for yourselves, but others if you take her lessons into heart - Regarding grading, she's very fair and honestly grades relatively high!! (Although if you're a freeloader you are going to get absolutely destroyed in this class) - Not only that, she gives constructive feedback often which may feel demoralizing at first due to the amount she gives, but when you realize she does it so that you could tremendously improve your work so that she could give you a higher grade makes it feel very very rewarding to take into consideration her comments. Tips - Get good groupmates!! It is very hard to do the requirements alone especially when it comes to innovation and creating the mockup and prototype. - Recite. Recite. Recite. It is very rewarding to recite and could pull up your grade - I cannot stress this enough, CONSULTTT. She has a multi submission policy (basically you could submit early and she could check it before its final submission i forgot details but yes) AND her comments and insights during consultation are so so invaluable to your requirements. In conclusion I highly recommend!! I always looked forward to class and will miss her insights and teachings. Not necessarily an easy A but would say grades high (like B+ range).more

shes super good! available for consultations, great at delivering lectures, and lots of opportunities to make bawi especially thru class participation and her resubmission policies. pretty chill class also, the content is pretty easy, u wont need to study but much of the work you'll do in the class is really on the final project so theres still quite a bit of effort needed for the class just make sure to get good groupmates because almost all of her assessments are by group (although graded individually). final defense qna is also graded by group, so if just one of your groupmates cant answer a question or fucks up, the entire group gets points deducted. b+ with good effort, a-able if u dedicate the time for it and and maximize the opportunities she gives for checking and consultations, they really help a lot for your grade. overall great prof and pretty chill class, just pick groupmates wisely and consult.more

Hi! Just finished the sem with her, she's the GOAT!! Not only she's tropa vibes, but she's really considerate unlike other young profs. She knows how to mix fun and productive learning at the same time — lots of opportunities for bonus points as well. She's a consultant on the side, so she knows her shit well. It's not a bad thing though! She'll literally help you with your reqs because of her experiences + knowledge Ez A+++ best prof, just let her feel that you really want to participate! definitely my favorite prof!!! i had her this year and i think she is one of, if not the most genuine professor i’ve ever had!! she really knows what she’s doing and she’s very good at explaining what could seem confusing at first. her input always helps our papers during consuls too!! super chill and tropa vibes!!! just listen to her input, do her bonus incentives, and participate in class for an A :]]more
