I'm taking her ITENT 120 class, but I hope this helps
1. grading system: she provided us with a very very vague rubric to follow. to actually know what she wants or looks for in your work, you'll have to ask and ask and ask. sometimes she won't even respond lol. we don't know how high or low she grades, she hasn't returned any of our requirements. 😃
2. workload: we had 3/4 major things to finish over the sem. each major task had like a lot of minor requirements within them that you also had to pass, more on research stuff. the first few ones were light lang, but the last 2 were VERY heavy, especially because ang labo ng instructions and mga hinihingi niya. for our last requirement, we had to make an entire UI for an app we made up, one for mobile, one for tablet/pc, and one in dark mode, with 2 versions (user and service). CHOOSE YOUR GROUPMATES WISELY. you'll be working with them on your major requirements throughout the whole sem. you can't have both a bad prof and a bad set of groupmates. 💀
3. teaching style and attitude: she's very unorganized lol. for all of her lectures, she just read off of her 500+ page google slides. all of the topics to be discussed for the whole sem are in 1 SINGLE PPT. you don't even have to listen to her while in onsite classes. she literally just speed runs the powerpoint, and she doesn't really add anything substantial or note worthy during the lectures. she NEVER uses canvas for posting things, she only used them as a submission bin. all communication goes through facebook messenger. I recommend you ask or talk to her onsite than online as she barely replies (she ghosted a lot of our groups).
atttitude-wise, she's actually really (maybe even too much) chill in class. medyo mabiro siya onsite and smiley sa students. you can also approach her for consultations (more on things outside the class itself, in my case, I asked her about other classes in QMIT) and she'd be very willing to accomodate you and answer your questions.more

shes nice to me pero sa iba hindi. communicates through messenger, not canvas. pati consultations mo video call sa messenger. her instructions are not on canvas, its on a gslide, and it’s not even complete. daming pinapagawa tas paiba iba instructions niya. shes always late to class.

I took Ma’am Abi for ITMGT 45.03 and OPMAN 142 and contrary to a majority of people’s experiences, I had a good experience with her classes.
While her activities are mostly hands-off, her instructions are in the most literal sense. Kung ano ang nakasulat, yun lang ang ilagay— no more and no less. Ma’am is super accommodating naman when consulting with what to expect for each activity so it’s easy naman.
For the requirements, she prefers the outputs to be photos and BRIEF bullet points, so make sure your output is not flowery and full of bola since she WILL notice it and will grill you for the product. Furthermore, make sure you understand the nuances of your prototype and products because she will keep asking you as if she will purchase your products!
Just make sure to do your activities early so that she wouldn’t do surprise consultations at the end of the semester. Overall, she’s super A-able and is a class that boost your QPI (if that’s what you’re aiming for)more

taking him rn for las20 and so far there are a lot of papers. We had 1 paper where we had to interview someone who runs a business and make a reflection for it. We had a presentation. Lastly, a major paper where it's research heavy. What I suggest is to really do a lot of analysis in those papers since that's how our grade improved. It's divided into 3 parts and you can revise your work in the last part since it's composed of the other 2 parts. We also have to present it (not there yet). His quizzes are all online and we have like 4?
So yeah he's a-able nmn with effort! He's also very friendly. Also recite, cause it's worth 10% in the final grade. His questions are more on application too!

Run far away from sir art. His classes are so boring you would literally start counting sheep for time to pass. He grades so weirdly and gives the grades so late. I got a B from him from having high grades and reciting every class (max. effort). Ifl he is also the type to not give an A for funsies or bc of ego.more

agreed. would like to add that her deadlines are quite lenient, she allows you to edit your submissions even after you've put them in canvas (since you only need to send gdocs/canva links anyway). BUT the downside is that she doesn't really return your grades. up until a few hours before writing this review, she hasn't graded any of our submissions aside from the very first activity.
also, her comments across consultations are quite vague and/or inconsistent. you'd often need to ask her quite alot of follow up questions for more specific feedback.
as mentioned by the other comments, her discussions and powerpoints weren't all that useful either. could literally search up "top 5 ui/ux tips beginners should know" on youtube and gain more insight.more

Note that she doesn't give full instructions, if any. She expects things from you that she will not communicate properly, IF AT ALL. Classmate had to pm her personally to see if we were gonna have a presentation (we were). No official announcement, her rubrics are as ambiguous as can be, and yet you'll be busting ass for your output like its a major subject. The class is basically seeing if your work pleases her, and she does not communicate what she wants.more

for requirements, i cant speak on your subject because i got her for decsc and i had it during intersession.
she gives everyone access to her slides. usually she has 50-100 slides. she's very conversational and she's really open to consultations because you'll really have to consult in her class.
for her requirements she'll give you a submission bin where you submit all the requirements. the deadline for everything is usually at the end of the sem. she'll check them and mark it pink/red if she doesn't like it so you could keep on revising it until the deadline!more
