hi!! took him last sem nd i can say na his lectures are kinda eh (i was bored huhu but maybe not d case for others) …. my tip is to really understand the readings provided to be able to properly follow his lectures also recite as much as u can!!!!!!! for reqs, theres a quiz for every module! 2 essay questions, 25 points each with bonus ques abt recent news. so u rlly need to do ur readings nd have a proper grasp on each polthinker to be able to answer (readings are pretty long so i suggest having a study group nd all) but i can say na he grades relatively high as long as u show na u know what ure talking abt lol aside from quizzes, he requires one indiv news reporting abt how u can correlate one contemporary news to some political thinkers (theres 2 presenters per day) nd a qna portion from him and from the class theres also one grp reporting! + a long paper abt it but basically every req is applying the point of a polthinker abt a certain issue / topic nd thats it for finals, his only req is a 5-6k words synthesis paper! pretty much kinda the reporting but much more expounded also offers a lot of bonus opportunities that can rlly pull ur grade one letter up as well as a +2 for perfect attendance so dont cut ever (js a tip: ask if u can join online if u really cant attend onsite so you wont be marked absent nd miss out on the +2!) overall b+ able!more

I took Juliano! I liked the readings that he gave, but personally, hindi ko trip teaching style niya. May mga take-away rin naman akong bago, it was really just his delivery. I couldn't help but work on other stuff in his class. His reqs could also be heavy if your sem is relatively heavy; he gives group works for recitation and requires you to write four lit reviews, two field visits (with a required output), and one final group output. For lit revs, just make sure to read the readings in advance so that you won't have to cram it near the deadline. For the final group output, it's hard because he's pretty vague with what he wants, so just keep on consulting him about he wants to see in the output.more

On the contrary, I enjoyed taking POS under Juliano. It was a chill class and I actually ended up retaining what I learned in class. He has a lot of side comments, just take down the stuff he says during lectures as they're useful. He's also super helpful and really answers emails about your questions. It helped me a lot. We had 2 Term Essays, and a group presentation. Easy B+/A.more

Juliano's a pretty chill class. Plenty of requirements are group activities so you better have good groupmates for his class. He grades pretty high. Take notes and at least skim through your assigned readings in his class because his presentations are mostly just supplements to what he's talking about.more

Didn't learn a thing from Juliano. He mostly just rants in class hahaha and he has really long readings. But it's an easy A, just do all the papers :) There are a lot of papers though. One for every readingmore

Hi! had him during intersession and he’s very strict about AI use/ plagiarism so as long as your works have a low score in the tracker he uses (the one built in gdocs) you’re good! He grades fairly naman but better if you do the bonus work so bigger chances of getting an A 😅more
