fairly easy B and B+ as long as you do the readings, but he only gives a few As per class. he grades relatively high, but he won't hesitate to give big deductions if he reads something in your paper that he doesn't like. overall his class is okay and he doesn't give quizzes unless he doesn't think anyone is doing the readings. you'll be finemore

i got an A in his class, but i also did put the effort in it (of course! the social sciences are just as important as any other subject.) he follows the respect begets respect mindset; def one of the more thought provoking profs that can really make you learn a lot. he wants students to see beyond their own realities and a lot of ateneo students who fail to realize their privilege unfortunately dont see this. if you want an easy A, dont take him. but if you want to actually learn and grow as a person and be aware of your place and power in society, just like what the subs supposed to do, take him.more
honestly, i had a great experience with sir jehu! you'll learn so much from his class tlga, very eye opening, and i got an A in his class. yes, the readings can sometimes be difficult to go thru since they're long but in my experience he grades relatively high nmn. we also had an "unessay" proj for finals, where its like a "science fair" set up except its any project you'd like to undertake which applies any of the sociological concepts covered in class. he only gives quizzes if he suspects no one has been doing the readings, but generally he prefers written essays and outputs. if u have any more questions feel free to pm me :))

Most of the people in our class got B/B+ while around 7 people got an A
I think sir grades relatively high, but you do need to put in the effort for his requirements:
1. Reading responses - you can get away with really listening attentively to sir’s discussions on the readings and still get a perfect score as long as u kinda dig deeper and sir really appreciates it if you can connect the concepts to your personal life.
2. Tweets - we had to write 2 tweets during the first week then submit 1 every week after that. These are actually quite simple and straightforward.
3. Unessay Project - this was really just any kind of project where you apply a certain lesson in the class.
4. Participation - for our class, he graded participation kinda low since not much were actively engaging in class. But he gave a bonus activity to help pull our grades up, so it was all chill.
He usually only does things kinda different if he thinks people aren’t taking his class seriously. For our class, he made it seem like we were going to have a quiz, but in reality it was just for participation to test who actually did the reading. Overall was a pretty okay class and was able to get an A along with other heavy subjects (I had him during a 26 unit sem). May be a bit intimidating but kaya naman siya!more

From what I remember, around 7 people in my class got an A, and almost all the other scores were B+/B.
Honestly speaking, he has high standards, but they're not impossible:
1) Reading responses - long readings, but you can focus on short parts of the reading and *still* get a perfect score if you explain them well enough.
2) Tweets - very short and doable. Just tie it in to whatever the discussion was that week and you'll be fine.
3) UnEssay project - No joke, our group crammed this and still got a perfect score somehow. Visuals were so scuffed, but so long as you actually connect what you're doing to the course lessons, you'll be okay.
Also, yes, his cutoff for A was 97, but he gave us some bonus activities because he wanted to pull people up to A
