Hello! Sir Ned was my COMM 42 (Screenwriting) prof last sem. It was his first time teaching then, so that's why there have been no reviews of him. He's very experienced in the field of communication, having worked at ABS-CBN for 30 years. I was impressed with how he organized his lectures, always providing detailed yet concise frameworks. He allows students to negotiate deadlines from time to time. This is the first time he will teach COMM 20.04, but I'm sure he'll be great at it given it's a fundamental COMM course. When it comes to giving feedback on assignments, Sir Ned isn't necessarily the most punctual, but when he does give them, it's constructive. Alam mong hindi niya binobola; talagang mararamdaman mong nagbigay siya ng oras para basahin ang sinulat mo. I had a few 'chikahan' moments with him after our classes, and he would ask me for feedback from the student's POV (regarding his teaching style). Expect that he'll try to make class meetings engaging by asking students for examples that relate to whatever the lesson is about (basically friendly recitations, no stakes involved hahaha).more
