I always fell asleep in his class but his slides are very detailed so just study that.

He doesn’t curve you definitely get the grade you deserve (or at the very least the grade you get in the LT). Just study the whole Young and Freedman and you’ll be fine.more

He grades fairly, but the problems are routine anyway so as long as you understand the physics concepts and do the math properly it should be an easy A. tbh it might be harder to stay up in class than to answer the LTs 😂more

Both are kind but sleep-inducing LOL. But they’re both in the upper echelon of physics dept profs.

We had him for the first sem last year! Sir P. Dalisan is really passionate but to our class his voice is monotoned so its hard to listen to him. He gives out 5 point quizes for us so its hard if you get a mistake since hindi ka masyado makabawi. He likes demonstrations and showing science tools and how they work (for me it didnt help much with the lesson but its fun looking at them!)more

Pro tip: study the ppts or the book. There are copies online HAHA I only passed because I got the lesson through the ppts and just a tiny bit from his lectures. His lectures are boring, but if you listen real hard, you could understand it but you really need to read the ppts or book HAHA also, his tests are hard because each item is two points each BUT all of them are multiple choice hehe and finals is just a long test of the last few chapters he discussed, not the whole semester :> ((he makes corny jokes too so make sure to laugh so he'll like you HEHE))more

Honestly if there’s someone else teaching that class, load rev na, especially if you actually want to learn something. Super boring lectures and you’ll barely learn anything from him. Time slows down when you’re in that class. His voice will put you to sleep. He’s very malabo also. You have to self study.more

I got him for Psy 1. His lectures are boring and it makes you fall asleep, but he’s a nice guy. He reuses his LTs and he sometimes gives quizes. Don’t worry about it being a surprise quiz because he always announces it. You are given 1.5-2hrs to finish the LTs but you can finish it in 30-45 mins.more

No don't! Huhu he's fair naman in grading, I can say that, but the stress is NOT worth it. Unless you're the type to not really listen in class (cause he's CONFUSING AF) and prefer to study by yourself, then go. But really huhu save yourself. If you get him though, bless your soul.more

Anonymous member 640 yup! the whole class revolves using a camera so maam requires us to have one or borrow + need may various settings (exposure, meter, aperture, iso, shutter speed, etc.), not yung basic automore

dailisan is VERY NICE and KIND. he is passionate too i guess but his lectures are very boring. he jokes from time to time, but it really depends on whether your classmates will receive it well cause otherwise everything is just boring especially if u dread physics. i got an A for him but it’s because the most mistakes i got on an exam was 3.more

To contribute, I had him for PS 21 - he is fair, i guess, but i found it hard to listen sometimes because his voice was not well-modulated. had her for COMM20.03 this 1st sem (and some friends took her COMM 26 last yr) EASY A no quizzes/LTs—mostly presentations(1 indiv & 1 grp) then some papers/infographics no recit BUT highly encourage to participate in class bc thats how she keeps the class engaged—she likes it when the class is participative:)) doesnt use up the whole 3hrs—max 1hr/1hr 30mins she is vv considerate and motherly! easy to coordinate with, especially when asking to switch to online modality due to cases like transport strikes/rainsmore

Really loved her for that class!!! Although the class was really theoretical, her examples really helped in understanding diff comm theories and see how they work in everyday media. She makes things easy and relatable so much super nakakagana magparticipate in her class!! Workload was light din and enjoyable (1 take home exam, 1 group discussion, 1 presentation on anything then relate to a comm theory, final research paper) 🙂 Super kaya i-A as long as you exert the effort din hehemore
