I think she curves lol. And she's approachable (had her CH 8, though).

She's very considerate but sometimes get irritated when you ask something regarding the procedure. She assumes that you fully understand the whole flow before the experiment itself. She returns the post-labs late because she is busy on her research. Overall, she's a great prof and trains you well to be independent in the lab :D

I was sir chopi’s first batch of students freshie year, second sem. I learned a lot from him and got an A since his lessons arent really heavy. He also gave us pizza during the last day of class.more

Had her for CH36.5. She's a holy terror in the lab (like T E R R O R) but actually really nice on the inside...

Had her for Ch12. Her postlabs require a style of writing a bit more technical than other lab profs. Her post-labs are to be submitted online through Turnitin. She is a great prof and a really smart one too! A-able :)more

She also requires you to submit the prelab two days in advance (during our time) even though they are not graded

Hi! I had Doc Lea before for one of my elective classes in MSE, but not for Chem 21.12. In terms of the workload, it’s pretty chill lang. She gave us like five major outputs that we need to submit before the sem ends. She is very generous in extending the deadline and in grading the outputs. Based from experience, she also accepts late submission without any deductions🥹🫶 Overall, I would recommend her.🫶more

he might question my choice of words right here but he's THE BESTEST OF THE BEST jokes aside, he's a really great professor that looks out for his students whenever he can. he would allow extensions if necessary, esp during hell weeks. grades wise, he's somewhat an easy A because he's not as technical as other english profs (like he's normally not strict with word count / page limits for essays unlike other engl profs) BUT he will appreciate it very much if you put effort into your work. he puts giddy notes and stars on good works - very heartwarming for someone who's a kid at heart in short, people would go to war for a slot in his class.more

hello!! had doc lea for 1st sem (sy '23-'24) and i loved my experience with her :> she was quite hands-on during our experiments, always roaming around to check on everyone and you could always approach her if you were unsure about how to do things; quite chill but still knowledgeable about what she teaches! for assessments, she doesn't return most prelabs and postlabs on time </3 but she grades pretty high! she also gave prelab quizzes that were quite tricky so we didn't do so well in these (she didn't return these quizzes also but she explained the questions right after we submitted the quizzes so we know the answers) HAHAHAHA but she cancelled our lab final so that our grades wouldn't be pulled down so much heheh would recommend!! 🫶🫶more

Hi had doc lea for 122.02, gen chem 2 lab (inorganic). Workload was a bit heavy for us kasi chem majors so almost every lab may formal postlab, pero she didnt have any other tasks for us aside sa prelab quizzes and the lab itself. Yung prelab quiz nya haha she wings it (i assume) kasi magtatanong lang sya sa start ng class about one thing sa experiment tas pag di nasagot sasabihin nya "okay thats the first question for the quiz". We had an output based group finals (idt she's fond of written exams). If this will be your first chem lab class and youre going to be taking another chem lab class or any class under chem dep i suggest not taking her if you have any other option, simply because you will not be able to get feedback from her as she doesnt return papers, and she is really busy because she is an "in-charge" of the labs under chem depmore
