Motherly, high standards, B/B+ able, huge group work chunk

Took her for MKT 111 and this is a basic overview from my time under her class but if you have any other qs, feel free to pm me! - She’s very motherly and has that swagger when she teaches and you definitely would learn a lot. Replies well on emails and is willing to help out whether it is an individual requirement or group requirement - We had like 1 pop quiz in class when supposedly there were supposed to be more but I guess a lot changed in terms of schedule conflicts and having to be on time in line with the curriculum. - Theres about 4 Individual major requirements and seperate DBs that aren’t fully required I do recommend you answer as much of them so you can to get the full participation grade. - The main aspect of the course is the group work where you have to choose a brand that is dying/dead to revitalize and make a pitch for so a huge chunk of your grade will fall under this so make sure you get good groupmates. - She can get nitpicky with grading especially during the mock presentation but the plus side is you don’t have to face her as a panel during the final presentation because she really pays attention to every single detail and your group will get grilled for it. - Grading as expected, she has high standards and I’m not entirely sure if its possible to get an A with her class but as long as you listen to her and read her modules well, you should get decent scores from her. I got B+ due to a decent final grade + doing her last extra credit work she provided. She is B/B+ able (goes along the trend of MKT profs) - Overall she really is a no nonsense prof but is very nice and approachable. Make sure to attend her classes btw, she hates when people cut without any prior notice. If you want to learn a lot, not do much indiv work and avoid her being a panelist in the final presentation, I do recommend choosing her class. All MKT classes will require you either way to exert a lot of effort due to the group work needed.more

Workload not heavy, teaching personality is a no

Hi! I took her class this sem. No grades yet, but here's my review:Workload: Not heavy! There are three major groupworks, 1 indiv homework, and some discussion boards. Teaching style: The biggest NO for me. Teaching wise-she's decent. Lowkey if she doesn't agree w your opinion, it's wrong (which is weird bc this is a marketing class and a lot of it is subjective). She knows her stuff naman, and she has a lot of informative slides. The biggest thing I didn't agree with was her personality towards students. She seemed nice at first so I was like haha to the ppl who rated her badly on profs to pick but then later on, I realized she was quite...unreasonable. She doesn't like people to be late and magpaparinig talaga siya if you are, but more often than not she dismisses the class past the second bell. (I was often late to my next class bc of this) There are times when she gets hot tempered if the class doesn't participate. These reasons may seem shallow but honestly her unpredictable behavior makes me anxious for her class.Grading: She grades pretty low imo for the groupwork, but the seatworks she grades high naman. Overall, I'm not sure yet if A-able.tldr: not the worst prof, but i really wish i didn't take her but if you have no choice she's not too bad i guess.more

If you love yourself, don’t do it. She was probably the worst professor I ever had to suffer my entire stay in Ateneo. She acts like a classic narcissist; she can’t admit when she’s wrong, thinks she’s way smarter than everyone in the room, and lets go of statements only a bigot could think of. It was a crazy experience and my groupmates and I were in constant disbelief the entire semester.more

Pacing is right; SPSS for the project is self-taught

I took her class 2nd sem SY2023-2024. The subject is more heavy on the marketing than the psychology part tbh. The pacing of the course was just right, and ma'am makes sure to match the lesson to the segment of the final project, since you'll be working on it throughout the sem. Make sure to get good groupmates and at least someone in the group needs to be familiar with SPSS because the final project requires the use of SPSS (ma'am will provide you a license key for the app). Sadly, she didn't really teach us how to use SPSS so we had to teach ourselves how to use and understand the results of our output in less than a week lol. But aside from that, I think she's pretty cool for a prof! As long as u follow her instructions and don't disrupt class. She pokes fun at the students in a fun way and uses relevant examples when demonstrating examples. Her ppt presentations are easy to follow and she sends them after every class. Very open to consultations too but should be scheduled beforehand. Overall, I would recommend her because she's quite knowledgeable as a prof but you rly have to put ur best foot forward for her class. Plus pogi points if ure the beadle btwmore
