Super solid prof!! 10/10 for me hehe His modules are constructed really well and were designed to be thorough and clear. There are graded discussion boards throughout all the modules, but they’re pretty manageable naman. He holds synch sessions every week to review the modules and answer questions. Personality wise, he’s super kind!! Easy to talk to and is very understanding when it comes to requirements and deadlines. He’s also super helpful when you ask him so make sure to do so when you write your paper hehe He’s very fair when grading, so if you put enough effort and show him you care about the class easy B+/A Would definitely recommend!! He’s one of the profs who got to adjust to the online setting really well 🙏🏻more

Hi got him for marketing last sem! The workload is pretty okay and he’s very understanding naman so if you need more time, you can tell him and he can adjust the deadline naman. In terms of teaching, would really give him a 5/5 🌟 (not exaggerating) because you’ll definitely learn a lot from his synch classes and even his modules are v digestible 😌 Although, if you’re aiming for an A, you really have to put A LOT of effort because even getting a B+ is quite tough. But overall, he grades fairly naman! Minimal effort siguro kaya makakuha ng B 🙈 Nonetheless, would recommend him talaga because learning wise, your money is sulit! 👌🏻more

He likes oral recitation for quizzes! I am not sure if he records class participation also though. There's a midterm (essays), and final project that you work on an IMC plan. Not hassle his workload + he's not very hands-on with the project but you could approach him if you need help! He grades fairly and he gives comments on your passes so you could improve on the next one. :)more

He really knows integrated marketing communications. He grades very subjectively, in my opinion, so be sure he notices you early in the semester. He holds graded recitations. For our midterm exams, we watched a local commercial and analyzed it. Got super low in that one haha. Nonetheless, he brings your creative side into surface after the sem's over. Just make sure you surprise him in your final defense. Think out of the box. Think crazy and you'll be fine. Got a fairly high grade in the end :)more

learned a lot from him! although i had him fully online bcos he was in spain that sem. every meeting we would do spin the wheel for recitation. it's not that hard as long as you read the modules beforehand! i'd take him again imo, but he has high expectations (but it's valid since he's been in the industry for so long) hence not that easy a, but easy b+ with effort! good luck,! take him you won't regret it.more

Hi! Had Sir Tanchingco for MKTG 111, during 1st sem 2324. [TEACHING] Sir knows his stuff, he gives real life examples and applications to his lessons. Hindi rin boring. There would be ungraded recitations every now and then. He doesn't allow gadgets in his class also. You can also set up consultations with him if needed. [ASSESSMENTS] We have a quiz every session. Madali lang naman, pero minsan confusing tanong. Bababa scores mo if overthinker ka HAHAHA buti nalang may mga bonus siya minsan kaya pwede makabawi. [GRADING] He grades fairly. A with effort, pero pwede kang madale sa quizzes kaya B+/B hahahamore
